@@2011blueman So, to a degree, I agree with you. However, we have numerous rules and policies set up to handle situation where the dangers of living and making decision become an epidemic (the FDA regulations amped up after The Jungle came out, we have numerous regulations on recreational drugs, etc.) But the thing is, and I’m assuming your arguing in good faith, is that if someone contracts it, the virus can become a variant and afflict people who did get vaccinated. That’s the difference between this situation and the cliff diving example- one affects one person, one affects the group as a whole.

Exactly…. And it’s exactly what the Biden administration is attempting to do. They aren’t mandating vaccines. They are promoting them. For the general welfare. Fox News, a for profit, corporation, however, has no similar mandate. Therefore, they make money promoting general discord.

@@doloresreynolds8145 excellent argument but during the that time and in proper English that it was written "Common defense" was only one part how We the People were to tell our government what to do, not the government tell us what to do at the expense of Liberty. 1. When reading the full text "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." Not one of these are more important or supersedes another. a. Common defense was to keep any one state from declaring war or fighting a war on its own especially against each other. Not in the context of a pandemic. b. The only part on the Preamble that discusses to protect clearly is of itself "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity." 2. Federalist No 70 states that it is the responsibility of the government to protect Liberty and Land (or state) while clearly stating "every Roman knows that when power is given to one man (government) tyranny prospers" 3. Oaths of office and enlistment requires that service be sworn to defend the Constitution and not the people. Ultimately, the full Constitution gives "Unalienable Rights" to the People and "Free men" are responsible for our own defense.

The ppl who have been tested positive who HAVE been vaccinated doesn't mean they are getting sick from this variant and they sure aren't in the hospitals!! Only Unvaccinated are the ones getting sooo sick and dying now!! It WILL continue to mutate as long as there are STILL this many ppl not getting their shots and THEY will be the reason if we ALL must shut down AGAIN!! If not for the misinformation campaign, people would not be dying from this or be getting crippled by hospital bills and the long term effects of this illness. And the biggest message I have to the hesitant as a healthcare worker is: It's not about you! Yes, there's lots of people dying of cancer right now, maybe more than necessary because a lot of treatment and surgeries were postponed because of the added risk of covid. There are a lot of tests and procedures that were postponed because of covid, and it will take years to clear that backlog. And then there's the financial toll that people experience because of the delays in reopening created by the vaccine hesitancy. Going unvaccinated has an impact that goes far beyond the person going unvaccinated.

But you wouldn’t know it from the Mainstream ‘fake news’ media. this messaging again was distorted by the media. The comment was more directed at the individuals' responsibility to their own health and body, should that right be fortified to the state, and how much autonomy should you have? What if the government took an active interest in your diet, how would you feel about them telling you what to and not to eat. And if you don't follow the choice they made for you, you are rewarded with a fine or get detained, how would you feel about that?

Then later Fox's lawyers used the same argument, and the case against Fox was dismissed. Both networks admitted in a court of law that their so-called news anchors were liars, and propagandists. Phil J: Trump is already considered the least effective president, legislation wise, in American history. Just how long would it take Biden to correct Trump's inaction? Biden overturned almost half of Trump's executive orders his 3rd day in office. The other half, he left in place because he agreed with them. Like the additional crippling sanctions and embargoes that Trump slapped on Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, Syria, Russia and China. Biden is obstructing himself from doing anything to help the American people. He's backtracked on virtually every campaign trail promise. Trump and the republicans are horrid, but Biden and the democrats are just the same. The inability to recognize this obvious fact, is what allows both parties to continue to rape and pillage America citizens, the nation and the world.

One of the most important requirements that can allow free expression, would be every American learning how to spell, write and speak, correctly. Currently, too many Americans are still not very good at that. They are lovely people though and so we do as much as we can, when ever we can, to help. If ever we had trouble on the road... Those wonderful Americans stopped to help! Such Lovely people, those good old Yankees!
