Yup, we're in the middle of a heatwave, it's impossible to sleep, and there's no Seth to kill the time. I'm thankful for these weekly "Best Of" compilations. Thankfully, James Corden returned this week, so there's that.

Having rocked a classic 1940s Errol Flynn 'stache for the last 10 or so years, I can attest that it never disappoints. Now that Mulaney is no longer wearing that overgrown boy persona, I think a classic, elegant little mustache would really suit him.

i am sad this does not have more views. but also, it seems like a really bad sign that nbc took seth off the air for an entire month, and he certainly did not seem pleased about getting a long break. i do not recall them ever telling him to take the summer off . . . .

Many shows are off for the summer. John Oliver is the only one who takes a long break in the winter. Kimmel has guest hosts. But this way, Seth's staff gets a break too.

the stereotype is that parents who want their baby to overachieve play Mozart to the foetus, it's humorous because Salieri is defined in popular culture (due to the film Amadeus) as a tier below, second fiddle to Mozart, which would be an odd choice for that personality of parent who wants to set up genius babies.

How many Jackals came to the last carcass sighting, hoping for some bone or gristle to knaw upon in this, our hour of discontent? I didn't even watch the clip, I was just wondering how the balance of the pack was faring. Forage among the other "talk shows" has been slim. Enjoy the beach Seth, but hurry back. It appears that a lot of the jackals had the some idea.

@@cricketcricket91 Nah he and his talanted crew take a summer hiatus in Aug which is pretty common. Seth told us in July then skipped out so he didn't have to endure the yapping and howling. He is prob stuck on a beach somewhere.

Hmmm. I am not a fan of Mulaney. I wish the show would give more exposure to the plethora of comedians out there instead of giving Mulaney so screen time. Small doses are ok, but I tire from his comedy. Let’s see who else is out there.

seth's on vacation, he'll back soon. the show is still great, they're just letting the super hard working and awesome seth (that we all know and love) get a break from his job (to entertain us). i think after a refreshing vacation, the show will be even better. at least for the time meanwhile, they're still giving us what's basically reruns, which is certainly better than absolutely abandoning the channel altogether in my opinion. so just wait a lil bit longer, seth will be back!
