I love how Lathrix makes a peaceful species to make a democratic government, that then presents himself as a noble sacrificing hero. Or, you know... Heartless Powerhungry Monsters, wich like to pull the strings no one knows ever existed... One of the two ;D

Make an authoritarian and militarist nation that seeks to improve all species to their best variants. So if a species is geared to farming then they stay farmers, and of course they are lithoids best suited for leadership.

One time while I was a religious empire, my neighbors, who hated me, had a machine uprising. Instead of just bombarding, I landed my million strong clone army led by space Marines and xenomorphs. When I inevitably won, I had to purge all of those pops, which took a very long time, due to how slow my system ran Stellaris. It still took less time than the time Lathrix puts into his videos. You deserve all the subscribers.

oh-ho lath, naming your Habs again? first time was bloody ages ago, when you tried to invoke the end of the cycle (which then sadly never happened), naming them after the obscure chants for the Prince of Pleasure. now you name them according to their purpose in a silly fashion. "Forty McFortface" is still my favorite of the bunch, close second being the one that is simply called "Fortz". Keep it up, you crazy man!

if i remember corectly(though they may have changed this, is back when wornhole generators were a thing) scourge fighters have more of them per set, like 1 normal fighter craft set has 7 but the scourge fighter has 10 per slot

so i guess the next full playthrough is going to take over a hundred hours to record and edit then. rip seriously thought i love being able to just sit back and watch a entire game at once or in a few parts without breaks so i really appreciate you taking the time that you take with these hope you have a good day and GL for when you go for the earliest EGC playthrough. o7

Lath, you are a legend with these! I had a similar dilemma where I was given the option to thaw sapients from cryostasis or leave them be. I figured that life would be better for them so let them loose... only to find that they were nerve stapled, and I had gone psionic ascension :'(
