Here we go with our second attempt at the Land Campaign! Will Lathrix finally reach difficulty 100 and free himself up to more silly runs in the future, or will It be another sad and sudden end?
Important note - There is an error with the placement timing of the 'Difficulty X/100' graphics near the end of the video where the difficulty increase was stated waaay too early as It's in place of the one before. This is due to when editing me seeing a repeated design a thinking It was a different part of the video. Thankfully past Lathrix makes It very clean when he actually gets to the final difficulty reached in this video!
It looks like there is a similar error earlier in the video but this is just past Lathrix getting confused with what difficulty he Is actually in, the graphics are correct there!
*With maybe a fun weapon or two added for some spice..

Hey Lathrix, I bet I have a challenge you might really enjoy. Once you build anything, you’re not able to delete it. You just have to keep slapping on new things. Have an old engine? Keep it and build another one. Missiles don’t fit any more? Too bad, keep them there and maybe move them up if they’re about to be internal components. Or make them cluster missiles which get launched from a new launcher. You can remove systems which simply can’t be used anymore, but anything which still functions MUST get left in place, unless it is destroyed in battle, then you can remove it (whether you repair it or not, since that is sorta scuffed).

I belive he already tried something like that in one of the early adventure modes, but it was more of an "evolving" thing, like he kept upgrading the initial craft, only building around it, but after a few episodes he discarted the ideia

What if you did a playthrough with only one damage dealing weapon. You could still use defensive missiles or lasers, but you have to use only one large weapon to deal damage.

I think an “endless” challenge would be really interesting. If the ACB can set it up to ring an adventure bell if there is no enemy present. You’ll probably need like a 10min grace period when you go through a portal to upgrade or you can only upgrade in blue portals. But that endless fighting would be really interesting I think

They absolutely do get more views, we're starved for watchable FTD content on youtube, AND it's not 70 episodes of building. Lathryx doesn't loose THAT much views, considering he right now makes many videos that a lot of people watch, unlike before episodes But on the other side this must be draining him. I hope he'll be okay if he keeps this schedule

I would also love a jumping craft, where as it sounds, the craft has to "jump" from place to place. Edit: Also making something that rolls. Yes I said it something that is just a ball of spikes, or more would be amusing and certainly difficult to get from the star. Then make a squad of 5 of them and wreck havoc. p.s. In general a swarm would be fun.

Make Lathrix uncomfortable challenge. A build with custom fuel engines and piston melee weapons. Anything else that you would usually avoid doing too. Cram cannons for air defense, small missiles for attack, etc.

Challenge: Holzpanzerkampfwagen Rule 1: you can’t use heavy armour, alloy or metal Rule 2: you must use a ground vehicle Rule 3: you are Allowed to have metal or alloy on drones/ai controlled vehicles Rule 4: drones can only use melee weapons According to the challenge rules, here is a recommendation for being more protected, the best way i can think to protect yourself is by making a massive metal shield on a 2 axis turret and some way of extending it out from the craft, have that point towards any threats as spaced armour. Additionally put Rams on your shield and slam it into the target using automated control blocks for extra damage Also by the way, The harmony prefab engine is awesome though and it is possible to make it longer and better. Start by placing the harmony prefab, then remove the fuel engine block, finally line up the engine-less harmony with the prefab harmony facing the same way and with the radiators clipping through where the engine was. If you do it right, it will connect and make one of the most efficient fuel to power ratio engines possible.

I would ADORE to see you build a "walker" type craft. I've seen how some of your craft turn into bugs, so I thing it would be really interesting to watch you LEAN INTO it! (I put "Walker" in quotes because I've seen your semi-old walker video with the breadboard, so in reality all you have to do is make it LOOK like it's walking.)

It may be impossible to do a fully only space run because I don’t think red portals spawn in space so the rules would have to allow leaving space to get to red portal but I’m not sure

For your next playthrough your should use multiple craft, but in a way that scale with difficulty. so for difficulty 0-10 you must have 1 craft, 10-20 is two craft, 20-30 is three crafts, ect. You can either choose to have multiple of the same in a swarm, a main carrier with added drones as you go on, or even a mixed fleet (i.e. airships supporting a tank charge). I just think the idea of splitting your resources up is more entertaining and would allow for the tense feeling of wondering what drone will die when. Thank you, sleepy

I've already made this suggestion, but ill comment this again: Hey lath! Ive got a great challenge for you, inspired by your very first neter campaign! It is time to return to WOOD! All builds must be made of WOOD! All armor is permitted only to prevent the AI/you from exploding and for preventing turret chain reactions, NOTHING ELSE! Light blocks and similarly strange or situational blocks are still very much allowed, but not as armor. Your crafts shall lumber around (Pun intended) the realms of adventure, Chopping (Pun also intended) enemies to bits, Screaming TIMBER!! (Pun also also intended) as it leaves nothing but death in its wake! May the spirit of the khorne flake and the malal's will guide your path to great, splintery GLORY! BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD, MILK FOR THE KHORNE FLAKES!

Well done. Those back-to-back level 100 fights were intense. Also, I really like this new format. It makes the run a lot easier to follow. Here are two potential challenges. Challenge - Arms Fort: Your main vehicle must be a multiped walker (4+ legs) and may only have defensive weapons. Your main offensive ability must come from automated drones and your main vehicle must be able to properly carry them while they are not deployed. (That is, you can't use the spawn blocks to just hold them over your head.) Challenge - Odd Lots: You are only allowed to use non-standard weaponry. This covers both weapons that are considered unusual (e.g. gravity rams or KKVs) and weapons you simply haven't used in a proper series (e.g. melee particle cannons).

A challenge which restricts each type of damage or role to an individual craft. Want to bring resources around? You can only really take them on a carrier craft. And it's not allowed to have weapons. Want to defend against missiles? Get to making a craft which shoots them down. Getting the fleet to get all of the individual actions put together might be a cool challenge,

I think an interesting challenge run to do is to do a "simple weapons only" run where you are only allowed to use weapons from the simple weapons section. This can include the rams and if you are feeling brave enough, the nukes. however, you must use at least one of every weapon by the end of the difficulty level and must be present on the end game vehicle, (this does include the nuke however you are allowed to have the nuke be on a drone and the drone will be held by the main craft. to make this more tricky, you can not be allowed to use spin blocks for the rams, and you can use the turret parts to make a multi simple weaponed gun.

The first fight looked straight out of a Mad Max movie. Meanwhile the intro was straight out of a horror movie. Also, would be nice to have a craft built around at least one giant "nuke" type missile, or a craft that has to use rockets / directly fired missiles instead of convenient vertical launch systems. Another idea: A flying craft with harpoons that tries to pull enemies up then either suck them into melee PAC/drills, or drop them to their death. It wouldn't be allowed to use any other weapons. Yet Another Idea™: Craft with a main gun that is either an insanely powerful railgun or doom CRAM. Probably not that original but I'd like to see the highest single shot damage possible. And finally, some kind of artillery vehicle, possibly using CRAM mortars. I think they'd be stronger on the land mode than in the sea mode.

A challenge idea where after you make you first weapon system, you're no longer allowed to build up your vehicle and must capture other vehicles and attach them to your original one. At the end you'll have an amalgimation of all different vehicles. :)

A few ideas i had are particle cannon only run melee laser/melee particle cannon only run land adventure but your craft cannot use wheels, treads, or fly. you have to be creative with how you make the craft move. warp drive only movement a run where you get 0% resources from your kills, so you can only harvest from resource zones mortor cram/ bomb only run (can use harpoons or something similar for planes) wood only run lead only run the only armor you can have is shields those are the ideas i thought of just now, i hope you like some of them! I love these videos and find myself checking your profile randomly to see if one happened to go up before youtube notifies me.

There's a couple of problems with that: capturing is annoying and I don't think it's that fun to watch, especially if it's repeatedly needed; if you capture the right stuff, you actually earn a heck of a lot more than doing basically anything else which sets you up to breeze the rest.

I'd think it's reasonably challenging to take on enemies and consistently turn a profit after repairs and running weapons... as long as it doesn't lead to lathrix having to optimize the fun out of it. Honestly, I think it's kinda difficult to come up with interesting challenges for adventure mode.

Challenge Suggestion: a small fleet that operates as a combined unit, where each has a specific purpose. - one is a jammer/distraction, one provides anti-air/anti-missile cover for the fleet, one provides smoke to everyone, one is designed specifically to tackle melee craft, one is designed to control the enemy with EMP, can have a few craft with harpoons that attack from different sides etc to essentially lock enemies in place. Just a whole fleet of vehicles that individually excel at exactly one thing, but combined are an utter terror to face.

Mech only run! I'd love to see a run where you can only use legs to move, whether it's two, four, or more. As well as this, I think we should have a weapon variety rule. Every craft needs; A melee weapon, a mid range, and a specialty weapon. Hopefully these weapons would be mounted to some cool humanoid form, but this seems like a good way to play off the hype of Armored Core!

Ftd challenge idea gravity only weapons, you can't use rockets with thrusters only bombs/mines, mortars, the weapon can have a bit of launch but the main thing moving your projectiles would be gravity, challenge idea crafts would include artillery, bombers, and satellite based designs be cool to see lathrix put there own spin on this challenge

Play-through challenge idea: A run without removing weapons. If you build it, you use it. You can add as many as you want but once it is in place, no moving it or removing it. Hopefully the build will turn into a madness hodgepodge of destruction.

Here's a fun adventure mode idea. The Ship Hopper. You are only allowed to use a craft for 10 difficulty levels (or however many you feel like doing) and then you hop ship onto the first craft you capture in the difficulty and then build it up to survive the next ten or so levels. It would be really fun to watch and probably a nightmare to play. So win win.
