@@ye11atip its quite shocking at first. Its emotional because youre scared and you feel guilty. I recommend, checking what you eat so your skin doesnt have bad reactions and therefore no cold sores. And also adapt some sort of exercise routine throughout the week. Stay active! I took some supplements when i first found out i had both facial and genital herpes, but i wanted to see what would happen without them, so i stopped, and nothing changed. My body was fine. But everyones body has a different reaction to different choices.

Please keep in mind that most people (but not all) have mild symptoms. That is not the case for everyone. My first outbreak lasted over a month and I was hospitalized twice with complications and couldn't walk (therefore work) for a week. Downplaying it (not saying you do this, but many people do) can be dangerous.

This video is solely about genital herpes - meaning herpes on your genitals regardless of the type - and it is transferred through skin to skin contact during sexual activity (oral, vaginal, anal sex). Now if you're talking about types rather than locations, HSV1 can definitely be spread in other ways than sexually! As for neonatal herpes (which FYI only happens in 0.01% of deliveries, globally), it would be herpes indeed, but not genital herpes which like I said before is the only focus of this video.
