As a birmingham fan - we are not great club - we could have been . There have been small windows of opportunity , since I was a lad in the 70s . 4th biggest crowds in the old first division , when we finished 10th , in our first season back . And what did the owners do from there - nothing . The only thing premiership about the club , right now , is the fans . At one time we had a big supporter base , I dont know if that is there now . Its bloody sad . So proud to be a bluenose though ....thank god , this was the club that chose me , however bad it gets

@@chaz2705 with all due respect , jude Bellingham is the only name of any note . Lets be honest , we will never or ever could be , man utd or Liverpool, but we should be so much bigger than we are - stats say we are the 15th best supported club , out of the 92 . And most of our fans, do support their local team . We are birminghams team . Of all 92 clubs , Burnley were no 1 for season ticket holders living within 30 miles of the ground - blues were 6th - thats local support . But blues are like an old car , that runs for a few months , then breaks down again. Blues need massive investment , move to a new ground , probably into the city centre , and start again , with owners with a long term vision , loyalty , and plenty of cash . And then the disaffected 1000s may return

Dont confuse Small Heath with how big Birmingham is as a City. They have won loads less than Albion never mind Villa and they get nowhere near Albions gates. Small club, always have been and always will, hence the chancers.

Near the end of his time with us, a club employee reportedly hid the keys to the club's safe so he couldn't get his hands on any more cash! Another few months with him in charge and I reckon we would have gone under. Steer clear Blues...and good luck for next season!

I am not a Birmingham fan, but when certain names appear in respect to taking over clubs, I fear for the club and more importantly for the loyal fans, who turn up no matter what, because they love their club. The question is how will he pay the money back, in that they will have to generate the income to meet the liabilities involved and how will he make a return on his personal investment, and crucially will he pass the cost of buying the club onto the books of Birmingham FC? These are important questions, that should be answered.

Successful businessmen strive to always be the least intelligent person on their team (Business), there are lawyers & accountants to answer questions..... the man at the top rarely has time to know every tiny detail..... the only thing that concerns me is dude seems to worry a great deal about what others think of him - not good

As a Villa fan I am both all for the downfall of Birmingham City and simultaneously hoping they don't do this. Ridiculous owners like this prat wouldn't understand the importance of the Second-City Derby to a fan like we do. They wouldn't shake to death on the toilet at 10 in the morning, nervous that we might get packed in like we do. They probably wouldn't even know the game was on. The absolute car crash we have become just shows the ineptitude of the EFL. Go out of their way to help the bigger clubs in the league. Done absolutely nothing for clubs like us, as Bassini wouldn't even be the worst owner we've had in the last decade. We have literally had a criminal, TTA, BSHL and now Bassini. The EFL have also turned away multiple times when given proof of a beneficial owner who did not take the F&P test even though he should have... who is also in legal trouble. Thanks EFL the demise of the club lies squarely at your door.

It may be out of the pan and into the fire but my god our current owners are useless and have no idea about football and it looks like they want to sell us anyway...so for me Bassini gets my 100% support. We are all set to go down next year anyway, so why not gamble on him instead of the current lot. ( unless Blues fan Richardson and Maxi Lopez can save us at the 11th hour)
