Hey guys!! Day 2 of Singles Week is an in-depth look at all the Sydney Grace single shadows in my collection!! I'm not sure if you mentioned it but Sydney Grace offers the mystery bags in light and deep options. There are some identical shades between the two but the transition shades are deeper and face products are suitable for deeper skin tones.

Cool tones are my jam, and I’d rather support an indie brand like Sydney Grace than bougie brands like ND. I got the Enduring Love palette this year and I think singles are next! Thanks for the video, Lauren! Love your vibe and you have the best eye looks on YT!

I like Sydney Grace, Speedway is a great neutral for me, and I just ordered Troops. I like Colourpop and Makeup Geek also but my favorite shades were either discontinued or out of stock. So I am glad to have discovered Sydney Grace, nice video. :)

I recently started my Sydney Grace collection. And I am in love. The formula is amazing and I also love how the shades don’t all run so bright and colorful. I love the neutral, cool tone they have. Sydney Grace and Looxi Beauty are my #1 when it comes to singles.

You should add the Nabla singles to that list. Their single shimmer shades are the best out there! Check out Nabla's website, there are live swatches of every single shadow and when you see how awesome they look in the swatch, keep in mind they're 10 times more amazing in person! Most of the shimmers are duochromes and the shade Water Dream is the most reflective, beautiful eyeshadow on Earth. Nabla's shimmers are the best eyeshadow formula I've found.

It's my most perfect transition shade of life (light skin tone). Also the pressed pigment called Tempest is out of this world incredible!! Definitely the best green, and one of the most special shades in my collection. 👌💚

I have purchased about 16 Sydney Grace single shadows. They are gorgeous. The mattes, metallics, and shimmers all work very well. I bought most of them when few companies were making cool tones a year or two ago. I have some of the same ones you do. I have also had great experiences with the purples. Recently bought Rushed, Flannel, and Regal. Thank you for the comparison swatches, as they are very helpful.

thank you for the video and you did a great job showing the colors, i replaced all my palettes with sydney grace. so far i have 120 shades in sydney grace . when i check trendmoods for new things coming out i can pretty much dupe all of the shadow palettes coming out with the best quality on the market. i am 60 and fair skin. i also agree with you about not enough light transition shades in palettes for my skintone. happy holidays to all

Some of my favorite SG shadows are purples! Particularly: As If, Magenta Dreams (duochrome), Totally Worth It (this one might be my top fave), Deliverer, Fierce (duochrome) and Flannel.

My Sydney Grace singles are my most loved shadows for sure. I think it's really interesting to hear your thoughts and I appreciate how you describe shadows - because you can describe what someone might like in a shadow even if you're looking for something else (a la Winter Garden). Winter Garden is the perfect duochrome for me because I don't want super intense, shifting, glittering duochromes. They are STUNNING on you, but wouldn't work as well for my life. Turtle Doves and Pismo are two of my most used shades because they're just so easy and everyday. At the top would also be Peace, Immortal, Blushed, Haven, Regal, Tiara, Spring Fling, Troops, Plummet, Paris, The Ballet... I mean really, I could go on. I have 42 singles from them and am looking forward to seeing what else they release because their formula is the best!

I recently learned about SG last year and was able to make a purchase at their July sale this year. I ended up with 12 shadows and the 12 pan palette, and I'm obsessed for sure! I have plans for another purchase soon. Lol.

Hey idk if someone said this already but the only existing shade that is in the tiny marvels palette is red chameleon lol they are the same shade:). Btw thank you for doing all these videos I’ve been so into single shadows and I have gotten so many from seeing them on your channel it really helps me cause I can’t tell much from like just a picture of the shadow on the website lol.i literally sit with a pen and paper writing down shades lmao :):)

I had a couple shadows do the same thing as Peach Fuzz - like, I didn’t drop them. It isn’t a huge issue since... it makes it easier to pan them (first of all) and they are shadows I don’t always gravitate to. I ordered mine two years ago (I think) when they were getting rid of many of their bundles and therefore had these crazy, crazy deals. I dunno, they are beautiful. Everyone talks about their mattes (and they are so good) but their foils are amazing, too.

I first tried them last year in Christmas in July (that's their best sales and they are great sales). I saved all year to buy more this year in the same sale. They now dominate my singles. Best matte formula I've tried. It's hard pressed with little to no fall out or kick up. But the pigment is really good, they blend super easily, build on one another beautifully and last great on the eye. The shimmers are great quality too but I prefer Juvia's shimmer formula, they have the rainbow bright shades. They have some great unique mattes but if I had any complaint it would be that they lack the bright rainbow colours. They still give drama but it's neutral, a little more muted in tone, jewel tones for the most part. The swatches on their site are the truest to shade I've ever seen. I bought 50 odd shadows and didn't get a single one that disappointed me. Seriously no regrets. Love them.

Sydney Grace said on an instagram post that Scarab and Red Chameleon are the exact same shadow! which made me feel so much better because I really only wanted the palette for that one shade and maybe the green.

I have the Danny Boy bundle (the more green one) and I LOVE the mattes in it. The shimmers are a bit much for me, which really isn't my style, but would be wonderful for you if you like electric, bright metallics.

*Hi Lauren! In my opinion, Sydney Grace and Nabla have the best single shadows and Clionadh has the best multichromes. If you haven't tried Nabla's Single Shadows, part the shimmers, oh my noodle, you're missing out on the BEST, most reflective duochromes and shimmers you'll ever see! The shades Water Dream, Millennium, Glasswork, Alchemy, Selfish, Absinthe, Snowberry, Grenadine, Pegasus, Juno Moon, Luna and Virgin Island, just to name a few, are TRULY some of the most GLORIOUS eyeshadows you will ever see in your life. Nabla's website has live swatches of every shade. They look killer in the swatch videos but when you get them in front of you to touch, feel and use, you won't want to use anything else. I’ve had bad luck with Sydney grace mattes. They ALWAYS have hard pan! I love the brand tho, so I use a tweezer to scrape it when I use them. I wish they were as creamy as people say they are 😢

I just got the Beauty Basic Bundle & Danny's Dream Bundle recently. I wish Mountain Trail would come back into stock, I really wanted that & substituted Danny's Dream (which is beautiful but had a few shades of matte green that were similar to what I'd already purchased from Devinah) I just put in another order last night, too bad I didn't wait to see your video since it included Winter's Garden. I only order 4-5 singles at a time as a rule. I put in a small order to Terra Moons as well. I really wish Indie brands had better descriptions & swatch photos. They mentioned on their Instagram that they are discontinuing the bundles. So if you like the shades I think you need to make your own. It’s too bad, I love their bundle options

@@claudial4141 Yeah, the downside of trying to dupe shades on the internet or fill holes is : you end up inadvertantantly ordering the exact same shade of dark green that you already have (they have different names but look exactly alike) OR you end up buying a single of a shade that came in the bundle you just bought because the description/photo doesn't match how it looks when you use it & you didn't memorize the individual shade names( I never remember the names of eyeshadows for some reason) I even checked before ordering too. Oh well, it's always nice to have dupes of certain shades especially if you're making your own custom palettes. The trail bundle had those beautiful matte mustard browns & golds that I couldn't find individually on the SG website. I hang onto my Gemini palette just for those at this point.

When you were mentioning the shimmers that were more metallic than others that's because SG has different formulas, the really metallic ones are pressed pigments while the others are their regular shimmers so naturally the pressed pigment ones are more intense.

Hi beautiful, "cool brown" seemed harder and stiffer 4 me too. I thought maybe I just got an "older" product, but maybe it is just like that. (or we all got older batches) :)))))))) I also bought them last Summer in July.
