Hey guys!! Today is part 2 of the Grunge Tour!! I am looking though and swatching all of the sparkly duo-chrome and multi-chrome shadows that give me grungy Fall vibes!! I had THE MOST fun putting this collection of shadows together and I hope it inspires you to use these type of shades more this Fall season!! I would love to see you curate some pallates from your singles inspired by different themes! For example a 9 pan for each season! Or a 9 pan pallatte for 4 of my fav books fav foods or a 9 pan palate for 4 different holidays! Or lean in to something you touched heavily in this video.... mythical creatures! (Ie an elf palate an angel palate , a medusa palate and a demon palate for example) You choose the themes obviously! Excited for singles week!

I just wanted to thank you for inspiring me to use the duochromes in my collection. Sometimes in the morning when I'm getting ready I don't want to spend forever constructing a precise eye look and I've found just using a duochrome all over my lid with my finger and then buffing out the edges through my crease gives me a dimensional look with minimal effort!

I think the 2nd look would be gorgeous for a black cocktail dress, velvet, with a wispy updo. I have those days where I feel self conscious about my looks because no one I work with is into makeup at all, but then I remind myself how happy it makes me when nothing else does.

For single shadow week, it would be fun to window shop with you from brands you haven’t tried yet. (Maybe like shroud cosmetics and terra moons if you haven’t tried them...) then maybe you could purchase one or two of the shadows and review them at a later date. I would love to see you look at some different brands and hear your thoughts about them. Looking forward early November!

I don’t really enjoy wearing a grunge style, myself, but I love hearing you talk about it! My fall style is more enchanted woodland vibes, but I feel like I can learn something from your love of this grunge style. I just love hearing you talk about makeup in general. The Clionah shadows are so worth it! You are totally right in saying but then and forget you bought them and when they strive it’s like Christmas - they really are worth it And using just one shadow on your eyes is so quick, but stunning

I love Duochromes and Multichromes too - they are so versatile. I have stopped buying regular Shadows/Palettes (because I already have most Shades between a bunch of Palettes) and have lately just been purchasing Duo/Multichromes exclusively. I'm really surprised that the mainstream Cosmetics Companies still haven't been putting hardly any Duo/Multichromes in their Palettes. I can't see Duo/Multichromes falling out of favour - they are just sooo versatile and be worn alone, paired with each other as well as used with an infinite combination of single Shade Shadows. I have all of the Looxi ones you mentioned and I'm working my way around to Clionadh soon. Looxi dropped those Butterfly Kisses Eyeshadows not too long ago and I was like OMG. I bought Backups of some of those Shadows, they are so gorgeous❤🤗❤

I know tutorials don’t get as much views but I would love a tutorial on how to bring the best out of duochromes too... like you mentioned fairy acid can be tricky to show the effect depending on what you pair with it.... expanding on that in a tutorial would be awesome

I love Looxi's eyeshadows with a passion. They have some of the prettiest sparkly glittery shades, I swear Ube is the prettiest shadow I have in my entire collection!! I'll have to pick up some of the ones you mentioned when I place my next order :)

I find that looxi shadows crease on me regardless of the primer or glitter glue that I have underneath and it makes me so sad because they are beautiful colors and so sparkly! Any hints for not getting creasing? I don’t usually have that issue with any other shadow.

I rotate and wear one palette (including my singles palettes) for a week, picking clothes that go with the various shadows. My "rule" is not to repeat the same shade as my main lid shade. This is how I make sure I use all of the eyeshadows I have spent so much on, even the shades I normally wouldn't gravitate towards.

Up until recently, I hadn’t bought eyeshadow in about two years, but I just bought a few duochromes from looxi, and I’m waiting on my order from Clionadh and I’m so so excited to start wearing these interesting and dimensional shades!! Check out Devinah, terra moons, and shroud if you need some alternative ideas to Clionadh. Jd glow is also a great brand. Their galaxy shadows are gorgeous. Spooky lips and fat hips did a video a month or two ago with all of her interesting shadows and she searched out all the JD Glow galaxy shadows.

Great video, I love grungy looks but I'm not good at incorporating most sparkly/shimmery shades, so this was helpful. Fyi, I wasn't sure about the gold shimmer in the second look - otoh I feel like it reduced some of the balance of the look, but otoh I did kind of like the "grungy royalty" kind of fashion show vibe. I don't think I could pull off the gold (hooded EAsian eyes w. no visible crease) but other than that it was my favorite look and I will definitely be recreating it. The mustard crease went super well with Juice and when you deepened up the outer corners it went full grungy-elegant vampire.
