Gotta show some pride for my house... I know last time I uploaded a Slytherin vid there were some people offended by the dark themes, but this is just how I interpret some of qualities. Plus it's how the movies went with it, so I went with the footage I had. Mainly Slytherins are cunning, ambitious, and have self preservation, and I tried to show that as well.

slytherin is absolutely the best house in my opinion, shame the better characteristics of slytherin weren’t really explored in the books or films. gorgeous video, I loved it.

As a hufflepuff I'll have to stop you there, its a worse shame that hufflepuff wasn't explored, heck its a worse shame that none of the houses ever overcame the cliche niche they were put into by Rowling.

I think that the best characteristic of Slytherin was explored in the books/ films, just not in a good way. The idea of Slytherins being ambitious and determined can go both ways, as ambition can help in achieving good and bad things. It’s sort of like how Gryffindor’s loyalty/ bravery can be used for good and bad, although we only see the good side of this. I expect this is because J.K.R originally wrote the book as a younger children’s book, and therefore needed a clear hero and a clear villain. They have started to explore switching the roles in some of the recent films, however.

I’m a slytherin, honestly, I think the founder of slytherin wanted to keep the non pure bloods out because Hogwarts was founded in the medieval times which means muggles were burning witches.

This is stunning. I wish there were more lighthearted Slytherin edits, with fireplace conversations and moonlight getaways and adventure. Not just....edge and snakes and death and classism.

Saskia H. What I meant is that in this video the best traits of the house (that is resourcefulness, the will to follow one's dreams etc) weren't really explored in favour of its darker aspects. I don't think that blood purity is something good.

Damn girl! I love all of your edits and the art you put in them but at the same time I'm so mad that you don't list all the movies and series that you take that scenes from. I understand that would be a lot of work but I would kill to know. I'm not from US or UK, actually I'm not from any English speaking country, so that might explain my luck of knowledge but if you would list those movies I would find them very helpful. I love how well the music coincides with the different scenes. Like the sound of the apple hitting the person's hand is in time with the beat of the music. Just all the little things that make this 5000% better than others.

I don't know about anyone else, but I write stories and fanfiction and most of my influence extends from tributes, songs, and amvs that are created in such...persuasive, compelling, gorgeous and ingenious manners that I can just feel a story brewing in the back of my mind, waiting to be written...I've always used my words to express myself and give me those breathtaking, chilling and spine-tingling moments that never happen in my fandoms or other stories that I read that I would love to see...but you, my dear friend, have just given me everything I could possibly ever want to inspire me!
