The album is still incomparable to any other modern soul hip hop record. They made a masterpiece

WOW - the little acapella she did of Zion, just off the cuff. There will never be another Lauryn. She just radiates talent & beauty. And these clips are a reminder of how sweet Rosie was to her guests and how comfortable they felt on her show. The current lineup of talk shows is very fake, with viral games / moments and pre-planned questions and answers. This feels so genuine.

Those were some of the best performances I've seen of any artist, and we were treated to not one but two . What a voice. Not only as a singer, but as a rapper. Not many - male or female - possess the rap skills she shows here. Incredible. Thanks Rosie.

25 years later, Lauryn Hill's iconic solo album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" is one of the greatest albums of all time. She can sing and rap better than most artists today.

That album is a masterpiece.

I remember this interview so so clearly still. Was so great to watch it again. All these years later, it's still one of the most remarkable albums ever.

Love her. I can’t believe how young she was and such a talent and lyrical BEAST. Every word has significance and meaning behind it. More than stuff like, “I got money in the bank, shorty what ya drank,” and no offense to that artist, but you feel me… lack of lyrical depth these days. And that’s fine! Y’all do y’all! But the roots of hip hop are social commentary and resistance, and just commentary on life in general. Lauryn, and the Fugees too, all icons.

I love how Rosie brought up “Zion” and was so choked up and moved by it. She’s such a real interviewer, host, and fan of everyone she’s had in the show. Maybe not? I dunno, but it sure seemed like her guests were all very well received by her and vice versa.

Right? So to find out she didn't even write the album and stole the credits of the artists responsible blew my mind.

OMG, I've loved her since I first saw her in "Sister Act 2". "That Thing (Doo-Wop)" & "Everything is Everything" are my all-time favorite tracks from her "Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" album. I wish she'd came out with more albums or make a come back today cause we need more music artists like HER, she is TOO talented 🌹

I was 9 years old when Miseducation dropped. Lauryn was probably THEE biggest musical influence on me, after Tupac. The 90s was just incomparable.

Rosie had to drop this cause y'know _Miseducation_ turns 25 on Friday. This was right before she cleaned up at the Grammys taking home 5 including one for Album of the Year. L Boogie is still _that_ girl. Period.

I Love Lauryn Hill, it’s a real shame we heard so little from her after this ironically titled album. Her talent was incredible, but the poor character of the men in her life changed her direction.

People need to understand that no one wrote her lyrics to the songs. When they say she didn’t write they are talking about the actual music and instrumentation. She is still brilliant. She may have mentioned some sounds she wanted or the musician played something and she approved that sound the musician created.

Amen to that. Can't believe people still get confused by that
