I thought of committing to only 'christmas-themed' videos, but after watching Half Blood Prince a few days ago, I figured Lavender needed a vid of her own.
Sis carried the 6th film, let's face it. I wish the video could've been longer, but she was severely underused in HBP. Of course, I agree that Ron and Hermione were always endgame, but my girl Lavender was there to give us chaotic entertainment, and she did more than deliver it to us.

Gotta say it. Lavender gets too much hate. Sure her crush on Ron is very obsessive and cringy but she IS a good person. She does like him and was genuinely worried when he was poisoned. Kinda felt bad for her when he just suddenly broke up with her. If Ron didn't like her he could have said so instead of leading her on like that. And she's a complete badass too. She died during the battle of Hogwarts. Which means she either stayed for battle or got sent away with other students but snuck back in anyway to fight for the school. We stan a VERY loving, badass Queen in shining armor. RIP Lavender Brown. Died a true Gryffindor.❤💛🦁

The worst part is though she comes off as "obsessive" she doesn't actually do anything wrong?? Like she was desperate for Ron to treat her like a girlfriend and he wouldn't EVEN let her sit with him at dinners or pay her attention unless she was the one leading. She should not have had to make all the calls, he was a terrible boyfriend and a terrible friend in general that even our girl Hermione showed more concern for her death, and actually tried to get rid of the vampire man then the other two.

I mean technically in the books Ron is the final one to get rid of Fenrir. I wish they had that in the last movie, Ron and Neville bringing down Fenrir, rather than Ron and Hermione running from the snake, and just deciding to sit there and let it kill them.

Looking back now, Lavender actually isn’t that bad. She’s just a dreamy and smitten girl with a crush. Most girls her age are. It was really sad when she died because of Fenrir. She was just a sweet girl who had an innocent crush on won-won. Plus, she’s got great taste in fashion! I’m a potterhead and a proud Hufflepuff! I never grew out of my potterhead phase and I don’t plan on to any time soon! Potterheads for life!

Omg, when I was 12, I was utterly obsessed with Ron (it was because I'm on the spectrum). I had a poster of him, etc, and I sobbed wildly when I discovered that his girlfriend was pregnant. So I sort of related to Lavender during those years.

did you know that when hermione was saying the stuff she smells in the potion, the color changes to what she describes. for example, it was green when she said freshly mowed grass. the last thing she described, she was lying, she said spearming toothpaste, but hesitated before saying toothpaste. the potion had turned orange, which means she probably smelled spearmint shampoo.

Lavender deserved better 💔. She truly did love Ron and just wanted to have a normal couple relationship with him. But he didn't like her back which led to him treating her not as good. He might have liked the beginning of their relationship but got tired of it at the end? Also, Hermione and Harry seemed so pissed that they were dating. They were just done with this madness.
