If you think about it, it’s quite scary that a Psychiatrist dares to diagnose someone based only on their looks, movies, and if they like to eat candy. Dr. Spiegel is out of his mind, can’t believe he’s an expert, it’s mind boggling.

Amber’s case relied solely on her testimony being believed. She had nothing else. Her photos were obviously doctored; she didn’t hand over her devices for forensic analysis; her sister’s account didn’t correspond with hers; her witnesses all said they had never seen JD hit her despite her accounts of him being a monster when impaired; and all the audio tapes showed her being aggressive and demanding and JD being averse to conflict. Even then her stories made no sense. When Camille asked if she was worried about the “monster”, she said “why would I?”

Not only was Dr. Tobin’s testimony for the prosecution extremely convincing, the defense expert’s testimony was disturbing - the outcry from physician peers led to an audit of 1300 “in custody” death reports performed while he (Dr. Fowler) ran Maryland’s ME office, and it was recommended that approx 100 of the audited cases be reinvestigated.

Ridiculous. Tobin wasn't convincing to anyone other than those who were looking to convict Chauvin no matter what. The retaliation from the ME community highlights another reason why Chauvin couldn't get a fair trial. The Hennepin County ME was threatened to change his autopsy findings, and the state's expert was retaliated against. Tobin just made an overdose a murder because it helped his politics

Hahaha. What about ole Dr Lewis that was always late to court in the Leticia staunch case …. She was a good one too And …. On the Depp trial … how about when AH atty abruptly said “Objection “ … and she was the ONLY ONE SPEAKING at the time .. literally objected herself .. Priceless !

My most memorable witness on the stand was Colonel Nathan R. Jessup when he was questioned by Lt. Daniel Kaffee.

I watched every minute of the Depp trial - Alejandro was a hoot! The 'live' chat thread blew up when he came on - oh, how we needed the light relief & laughter! Then the bad acting and histrionics of Heard & being SLAYED by the MAGNIFICENT Camille Vazquez.... 👏👏👏🤺🤣🤣SLURP DELICIO!!

I don’t think I ever watched a full trial from start to finish. My mom stayed glued to the tv watching the oj trial but I wasn’t paying attention. I’m not even a Depp fan but that trial was so entertaining

I've been a witness in court, to give sworn testimony under cross examination on an affidavit I tendered to court. The lawyers for the side I was working for, ran me through what I should and should not do, in order to respect the court. Be respectful to the court, by being respectful to the judge, the barristers and both sides. Bow to the judge when entering and leaving the courtroom while it is in session. Be clean and well presented. Don't interrupt, especially when I am not on the stand. Speak clearly and loudly enough to be heard. Obviously don't swear or act in a belligerent manner to anyone, even if you are being badgered by an aggressive barrister. Do the right thing by the court and you'll avoid being held in contempt!

I sat on a DUI jury here in Texas. The defense brought in an expert witness. the DA started to question him on how much he got paid. We all felt like it was a dishonorable tactic.
