Learn how to fix a starter pull cord that won't retract in this video. Disassemble the starter housing by removing hex screws, cap, and pulley. If the coiling tensioner, spool, or spring is damaged, the cord won't recoil properly.

Next time you make an instructional video can you please talk and explain step by step.. no music necessary. I had to look at other ppl”s videos to learn from A to Z how to do this. Do you even own the rights to this song. Be careful what you play

You didn't show what to do to tight the cord or whatever. My cord broke today and after fixing it, it is limp but does at least start. It is the same exact as this on but different lawn mower so I was hoping to see how you corrected this issue. Oh well, I guess it will stay limp.

you gotta wind up the spindle before you put the new cord in and tie the knot at the end. It can be slightly difficult to keep it wound up while threading the cord through the housing but theres plenty of videos on youtube goodluck if you havent already fixed it.

Went out to go fix my mower. Left it in the front yard. Cable is retracted already. 🤔
