Jackson's line of questioning regarding the basketball search was simply a string of things that her phone showed: Got home after 2am - accurate. Climbed a flight of stairs - accurate. Googled something about basketball - accurate. His implication is that if all of the other information on her phone logs is accurate, it's highly unlikely that the search & delete of "hos long to die in the cold" would be INaccurate. I hope the jury picked up on his strategy.

not to mention her verifying that the report saying she climbed a set of stairs was accurate will make the jury more likely to believe the step data when it comes in for John's device.

As a trial lawyer since ‘93 (aka, old man), it’s great the public is seeing through these trials (Depp Herd, etc) the ENORMOUS difference a good attorney makes. AJ is putting on a masterclass in trial performance and strategy on a once-in-a-career set of facts Hollywood would trash as far fetched. I can tell you he is outstanding and a pleasure to watch, and Yanetti’s the tough Boston flavor to offset AJ’s riveting questions, when in reality, Lally is more the norm, sadly. The decisions when to attack and when to relent and not cross were calculated to match the theme: KR was framed from the start. Proctor interviewed in Feb 2022 the Aruba Sisters on motive for Karen to murder John rather than interview scores of others with actual relevant information. I mean it’s quite the blockbuster motive to murder your boyfriend via Lexus one month later when in Aruba John got drunk, Karen was pissed, didn’t know it was his “little sis”, they said F U to each other and Karen apologized, offered to pay for the room and said she was wrong. Right up there with $2M insurance policies and Chris Watts’ age-old paramour motive. THAT nothing burger in Aruba is the state’s motive for murder by SUV? This is like the movie Walking Tall (my age again) only in Canton. In three decades, I’m hard pressed to think of a witness so thoroughly skewered, grilled, and turned on a spit as the temperature slowly increased on Jen of the Macabre family, removing her crispy after the Hos long to die finale. AJ’s team then entombed her by the contrast of omission, not crossing KR OR the two Aruba sisters, OTHER than to accentuate Proctor’s laser focus on KR to protect the Macabre and B Alert families. Wisely, AJ Team KR is only crossing hard the conspirators and accentuating that beautifully. What they are doing, as part of the craft of trial with these awesome facts, is mesmerizing.

This was great!! And not only that but they want everyone to buy that Karen struck John in front of cop's house, with multiple other law enforcement inside, and the deputy chief of police living across the street. Not to mention the possibility of ring cameras...insanity! There's so much that points away from Karen and directly to Albert's/McCabe that will all come out when defense presents their case. Have you spotted the FBI agent/agents who have been in the courtroom daily? 👀

I mean it’s harsh but that just seems to be their thoughts on John and Karen’s relationship and clear bias against Karen and it’s not even that damning. I expected something so much worse and horrifying. I’ve heard worse from an ex’s mother about why he was with me and it was still categorically untrue just her own perceived opinion. Seriously though who in this friend group wanted John but he chose Karen? Someone is butt hurt and they’re all butt hurt for her too because he snubbed an insider.

I haven't seen that in her testimony. I see Alan Jackson as a wolf: greedy, vicious, cares about winning more than truth, exploiting these families by utilizing and even fueling the falsities and mob justice created by TBoy, who is himself up to no good. I see a mama bear who is exhausted, innocent, and fighting back against 18 months of false accusations and extreme harassment aimed towards her and her family. Prosecution is far from proving their case, for sure, but to manufacture reasonable doubt by attacking these people is unconscionable.

It IS a fact!! The footage from the security camera at the library shows EVERYTHING that night and morning EXCEPT the 2 minutes that Karen drove by it after she dropped John off at the Albert's. The same footage that would show that her taillight was completely intact when she left there, therefore proving she did NOT hit him! Aiden Kearney (aka Turtleboy) is just one of many who have videos regarding this. Two minutes missing out of a 24 hour loop. 🤔🤔🤔

that is a good point- the last thing you want to tell jurors is that a lot of people think you are responsible and call your family "murderors" etc... It would make me question why as well. And when she can't answer any questions or has to see a report every time (which can be ok) but asking for something you just saw gets old-makes you look paranoid and suspicious. I also hate that people go around and do those things to others, there are better ways to approach people and ask questions too. His shoe and coat etc would also be there yet they were never found. As all of that is missing and the injuries don't add up - especially as I was mauled on my arm by a mastiff and my wounds were almost fully identical as they don't leave puncture marks but leave tears and gashes instead.....so due to all of that u cannot accept he was hit by car. I could even be swayed that an animal had chewed on his arm during the night but if there was 0 animal dna...thar rules that out either way the blood and missing shoe etc are my main hold out and I've not researched before I'm just an online juror like many of you so only go by the evidence in this trial but the lack of blood and missing shoe...I just can't get around

In a courtroom there are different rules for direct and cross examination. For instance in cross exam, you are allowed to ask leading questions, but on direct you generally cannot. If you call a witness who is resistant of testifying, or if the witness is sympathetic to the other side, you can ask the judge for permission to treat your witness as a hostile witness. If granted, then you can treat your direct examination like it was a cross examination. This witness in the video is being cross-examined, so she is automatically considered a "hostile witness". The term has nothing to do with the attitude of the witness. It is all about rules of examination.

@@kerri-lynbryant293no she didn't because the entire time Jen said she saw the SUV and John get out of it did John end up on the lawn! Underoath before this week Jen told the grand jury that she saw John get out of Karen's SUV in front of 34 Fairview. Jen said she could see the flagpole, the mailbox, and the fire hydrant, but she couldn't see the Big Blob of John on the front lawn between them! She doesn't want to say that John's body wasn't there because that means he was beat unconscious inside the house and later on was brought out to the front lawn to freeze to death. There is not one injury on John's body that indicates he was hit by a vehicle because if he had been hit by a car at 24 miles an hour, he would have internal injuries, and damaged possibly breakage to his hips and legs because the bumper is the first thing to hit a body. The only injuries he has are to his head and right arm that has dog tear marks on it.

I have attended many pedestrian accidents and John did not have the injuries of being hit by a motor vehicle. Firstly he would have leg/ hip injuries, and he would not have had an open gash to the back of his head hitting snow, nor would he have had a swollen right eye. if his head had hit the vehicle then the vehicle would have shown damage ..A dog expert gave testimony on You Tube that the marks on Johns right arm were made by a German Shepherd. They never leave bite marks, they leave tears like cuts because as they grab an arm the person will obviously pull his arm away and the teeth will cut downwards. There are never puncture wounds with dog bites so it seems pretty obvious that John was not hit by Karen Reid’s car, he was beaten up in that house, the dog obviously went in attack mode because she was protecting her owners and possibly the fight went to the basement where John fell back and hit his head. A big cover up. Why did investigators not search the house? Why did they not go in to see if Johns lost shoe was in the house. They would have seen the alleged blood on the basement floor. These people freaked out and dragged John to the lawn. Why would he be lying on his mobile phone? I really hope the truth will be discovered and the individuals who murdered him or who a rurally left him out to die in the cold are held accountable and be punished. It’s a sad sad case and I feel very sorry for Karen Reid. It’s really really horrendous how cops will cover up for bad cops.

Plus, she is an assertive networker, whereas Karen clearly isn't (she didn't even mingle with her boyfriend's friends). As of now, we haven't seen any objective evidence linking Karen to this crime. However, we do have objective evidence (data) showing that Jen made incriminating searches before allegedly finding John's body for the first time and exhibited a lot of suspicious behavior afterward. If this isn't enough to charge her (and it certainly isn't), why is even less (or literally no) evidence enough to charge Karen? Just because she was in a relationship with him? Given the evidence so far, this trial is a farce. It would be a crime if she were convicted purely based on association and previously demonstrated (non-violent) jealousy.
