@@blaiseblack7175 I agree she didn’t ‘mean to’.. she was too drunk to even think that far. However, she sat and laughed as he told her he couldn’t breathe. She turned the suitcase over, (and appears pushed it down the stairs) causing more injuries. She showed ‘indifference’, she didn’t care whether he lived or died- didn’t matter. And once his pleas for help got on her nerves, she left the room and went to bed. I have zero sympathy for her.

I think that’s what she wants, so she can claim the trial was not fair on appeal. I mean look how ridiculous her letters have gotten. Her complaint this time (since she had nothing legitimate) was “make my lawyer be nicer to me”. This was her talking to her “fans” to make a gofundme for her and just more ammo in her “this is a media spectacle there’s no way I’ll get a fair trial” gun. She’s purposely pouring gasoline on the fire and going “oh look how crazy this fire is, see I told you. It’s not fair to me. I didn’t want any of this, it’s everyone else fault. There’s no way I could ever get a fair trial so you have to let me out now”

This is dangerous precedent. SB knows what she's doing, she's delaying and pretending to not be responsible and sane. But she's just a calculated, nasty person. At some point we have to get justice, otherwise every defendant will just play SB tactic and literally get away with murder... She's not entitled to every attorney she wants, she's entitled to solid defense. So as long as it's done by the books and good record is set, who cares if SB is happy or not?

Lol your funny ditto on everything you said, yes from Daybell case to this, people keep screwing themselves with their phones! I've had a cell phone about 10 years longer than most people. Flip in the 80s. When I had 3 Verizon phones ( me and kids ) I had LG and this one called the Voyager. Id be on the train, bus plane and people would be tripping. Hardly anyone had phones. But that was for work. Socially even though I film bands and am a photographer, I never sit at a restaurant with my face in my phone. Never at the dinner table. Never with my kids or grandkids. I find it rude. Never to cheat like Lori & Chad. So these people are getting what they deserve! I had never watched any of those body cam arrest videos, omg watch a few someday. Females freaking out getting arrested and ALL THEY CARE ABOUT, is their phone. They all yell at the cops " where's my phone! I need my phone! Hats go off to tech forensics workers. I wonder if they have " foreensic workers appreciation day "? 😂

As a public defender, I’m quite proud of the work we do and our ability to take on difficult cases. But man this would be a difficult one . I will say this, I’ve been reassigned to represent defendants after the defendants asked for a new attorney due to a break down in communication with their assigned attorney . 90 percent of the time, the defendant actually had a legitimate reason to ask for a new attorney. Biggest issue is communication . A lot or court appointed attorneys simply don’t communicate with their clients and don’t return their calls. Another issue is the court appointed attorney simply not doing any work on the case and just kicking the can down the road. In the last few years I’ve only had to ask to withdraw from one case due to a break down in communication. The client was insistent on a non-sensical defense, wanted to introduce not relevant and inadmissible evidence at trial .

She’s facing SECOND degree murd3r charges so she has LOTS of wiggle room actually. It’s not about whether she did it, she obviously did. It’s a matter of mitigating the damage and showing a good reason WHY she did it. And frankly she has a good reason- she can claim DV seeing as how Jorge had been arrested for it before. It causes trauma and the victim sometimes snaps and fights back when given the chance. If she were to argue this well, she can get her time drastically reduced.

The woman in that video doesn’t sound like a woman afraid of her ábüsèr. She also treats her other ex in a very âbüsïvê way, is evident in her letters about the custody case and how she pretended for him to defend her. The way she treats her lawyers and even the judge, sounds very ábüsïvê too. I grew up receiving DV, lots of psychological form too, I know being triggered and responding is a thing, I know there is a point where the person can get defensive, but she has a pattern in the way she treats everybody. Victims of DV that only react, don’t go through life mistreating people and would be completely afraid of ending the situation the way she did it, taunting him and mocking him.
