Thank you for sharing! My Mom waited for her baptism as well (5 years) until she got her parents’ permission and I am so grateful. I know that’s not the path for everyone but I am so thankful for her patience and the relationships we had with her family. My grandparents didn’t attend her baptism but a few years later they came and watched my Dad give me a name and a blessing in church. Then they attended the baby blessings of children in my parents’ home. I know that our interactions with them during their lives are absolutely critical to their conversion to Christ process on the other side of the veil now since their passing.

as a new Christian i am proud you teach Sunday school - also important is "For New Testament believers, we are commanded to: Let the word of Christ dwell in us richly (Colossians 3); Take up the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6); Let Christ’s words abide in us (John 15)." if the word is memorized god will pull them up when you need them

I really felt the Holy Ghost as Louis shared his experience and humble testimony. I’m so excited he plans to serve a mission! God will continue to use him in marvelous ways to build His kingdom!

In a time where religion is mocked so much and any mishaps/zealots are magnified through social media to seem like its the norm...stories like this are nice to see. Appreciate Louis's determination and patience. Thanks for sharing.
