Andrea is right. I don’t have any native ancestry but I have listened to multiple episodes of her podcast. It’s always interesting to hear about other people’s life stories and the testimonies are great. For me, their words have always reminded me that we are all children of Heavenly Father and our testimonies unite us.

This is incredible, back in the 80s on reservations the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was the second most popular religion. My grandma was a Navajo herself, and she was one of the most faithful members you'd ever meet

I'm very glad to hear this episode, and I noticed that the Tribe of Testimonies podcast just came over to KZfaq in the last few days! I have lived in Alaska, Washington and Utah and I have Native American friends, and in-laws. I just saw that one of Andrea's guests is a friend of mine, and I can't wait to hear the conversation with her. Thank you SU for highlighting Andrea and her work.

Thank you, love you're podcast, we're Samoan and our great great grandfather was a sailor in the late 18th early 19th century an American native. Settled in Tonga married Mele our great great grandmother, a son end up working on merchant ships in South Pacific, met our great grandmother Luisa Paniani in Apia originally from Sapapalii Savaii from Malietoa lines, had three children, Lili, Papeete, and Sione aka John Liki, which I believe the name had changed according to language barriers, I've been searching and I came across a name Leekea through the the church records, our Samoan interpretation Liki, our grandfather sadly suffered a tragic death in Fiji and is buried there,, my heart desire, to bring his remains back to Samoa.

I love this! Thank you so much for touching the surface of different tribes in The States. Their culture, history, and understanding of the Gospel enrich what we are taught in church. I do hope the Polynesian sister and others around the globe start their own podcasts about the Gospel sprinkled in their traditions, as the Gospel is everywhere. All you have to do is look.

I loved your story. Years ago in 1977 as a missionary in the Nevada Las Vegas Mission I also had the Lamanite discussions and films. We worked with several families and met in the small chapels on a reservation in Northern Nevada. I was assigned to Carson City but we did travel when the opportunity came. Thank you for stirring my heart again.

i've always felt close to Native Americans, their culture, and history. My Grandpa was a branch president in Browning Montana on the Blackfeet reservation and was adopted into the tribe. I soent many weekends and summers in the area. My uncle Merlin was raised for a good deal of his youth by my grandparents. Young adults from the tribe were often at my grandparents house. The family still has very goods friends from the tribe.

Me and some buddies went on top of a small mountain, above the town of rogue river, or. Me and 2 buddies went up there to jam on some drums , a mini drum circle, and I heard as audible a sound can be the sound of a hundred Indians running through trees.. and i might add, I was totally sober. That valley has some history.

I’m surprised that there are so many natives that are members. I grew up on the Fort Hall reservation and I don’t know of anybody in my neighborhood that was a member.

Sis. Andrea, this is fantastic! I've been trying to learn about the Mi'kmaq for years. I'm mostly white, but do have a little native American in me. I'm not sure if the connection is family history, future calling, or both. I haven't had a car in years, but want to live amongst them. I threw an atalatl once. I need more practice. I have to find a link to your podcast.
