Daft Punk what? Guy Manuel and Eric Chedeville is a duo that has nothing to do with Daft Punk. Guy Manuel was creating and producing disco/funk music even before meeting Thomas

@@user-hx9gu5nh9p Collaboratively, Le Knight Club has nothing to do with DP (minus that one Remix of Technologic that Chedeville did under the LKC name). But with one half of LKC being Guy Man, who also just so happened to be one half of DP. As Boyz Noize once put it; Thomas & Guy both had their Records that they put their ideas onto, but only kept the best for Daft Punk.

Oh really? Thanks for stating the obvious. Still, Guy Manuel alone is not Daft Punk, he was active as LKC way before being a member of DP and he's actively involved in producing and managing other artists after the DP dissolution@@khuutznetsov

@@user-hx9gu5nh9p Guy Manuel alone is not Daft Punk correct, as you stated about the obvious, played a big role with Thomas in it. Overall Wav97 was simply paying respect to Guy Man. Is it a bit irrelevant to LKC? A little yeah, but thats like saying Filthy Frank is irrelevant to Joji. One was the other, as Guy man was both DP, and LKC.

Around the World as been created in 1995 and has been released in Jan 1997 on Homework album so I don't think this one came first. Also Guy-Man from Daft punk created the label Crydamoure as weel as the first tracks and single of the label so obviously this have some similarities :) Written-By, Producer - Eric Chedeville, Guy Manuel de Homem Christo

Only recently discovered Holiday on Ice and Santa Clause via the Boys Noize Roulé & Crydamoure mix, after being a huge Daft Punk fan for as long as I remember. Wish I researched into their individual tracks and other projects a little more, cos these are amazing tracks.

I am not sure there is any sampling at all, they just use the same synths on several songs and have their ways of using them !

There's another upload of this song that came out before this one where the tempo is a bit faster. Which one is the true version, that one or this one?

This comes up a lot. To answer quickly, this is the true version. The version that's sped up (I'll just call it the untrue version) is played a lot though, some people may not even know that this is how it's supposed to sound. The untrue version was probably a result of a bad vinyl playback when converting to digital form. People ripped the untrue version off of whatever source they got it from and it spread around like that, via other KZfaq uploads or file-sharing. When I originally posted this I had comments that said it was too slow or it was wrong, lol. All I know is whenever I hear the untrue version, the mix sounds way too sharp and muddied together. This one is clean and clear!

It's probably the version that is on the Crydamoure Waves CD which is mixed and thus not clean from beginning to end and also sped up. This is the version you want.
