Thank you Marco, this game deserved a review long ago! Excellent man, excellent!

Damn it, how did this review slip by me? FINALLY, an excellent review of a great and under-appreciated racing game. I am a native English speaker, and I agree that the rules are poorly translated but not too difficult to decipher. I love how well certain aspects of the game are integrated thematically - the water bottles, budgeting your energy, dealing with hazards, etc. As for flat tires, it's also consistent with competitive cycling in that yes, you will lose your relative position, but it the flat is usually changed quickly and the cyclist can get back to the peloton fairly quickly. The variable layouts allow for short races and multi-stage "tours", which I feel adds a lot of replayability to this game. And for me, I enjoy the fact that there is less randomness. This video demonstrates why Marco is one of the best board game reviewers out there. Now, if we can get Rahdo to do a run through of this, you'd have a complete understanding of the game! :-)

One of the best cycling boardgames - if not the best!

Realizing that they're two different games - one is a simulation and the other not so much - but still, I'd like to see Marco do a comparison with Flamme Rouge as part of a Flamme Rouge review.

Great Game! One of the best of my collection

Great review! It looks like some good ideas here, but overly complicated. I would like a game like this with a bit less complexity and book keeping. This is probably a better simulation because of all of the complexity but misses out on the fun and the feel of racing.

It's a pity this game is no longer available.

If you resolve from start to end how does slip streaming work as any bikes ahead of you will have move away?

Why "Hell of the North " ? I don't know anything about cycling races so it got me curious if it has any meaning like maybe the name of a race or something .
