I absolutely LOVE League of Dungeoneers but I am thinking about purchasing Dungeon Universalis as well. The reason I haven't yet is that, in my opinion, LoD is more forgiving on random events than DUN is. For example, in DUN, an event has a very good chance to happen every turn depending on where the event is at (city, plains, forest, etc) but in LoD, I could travel the entire map and have a good chance of never triggering an event. Also DUN looks to be a static dungeon layout where LoD is more rogue-like and every dungeon is different. I agree that both are among the best dungeon crawl games I have played and my experience also goes back to the original Warhammer Quest. Love the commentary, good sir!

I missed the first printing, but jumped on the second and can't wait to have it in my hands. The old school style is what grabbed me being an older gamer myself.

Love LoD. What an amazing big box true dungeon crawl that entices me to keep playing!

Looking forward to Lost Prophet arriving and shouldn't be too long now. I was enjoying LoD and thought it had a really nice character creator but the first time I got into a dungeon drawing the random cards for layout I thought was fantastic and just elevated this game even higher.

LOD 2nd printing is so close. Not enough time to experience all the great games.

Dungeon Crusade is my number 1 dungeon crawl. I feel like DUN and LoD both feel more like RPGs than dungeon crawls. Maybe it’s because they both are so complex.

Had to choose between getting this or Dungeon Universalis and went with DUN. I do not regret the choice. Thanks to you I found out about both games so Thank you Rob 🫡 I really wanted Dungeoneers to have more adventurous rpg elements or a videogame feeling but sadly it is too basic for me Where DUN seriously gives off old MMO and older dnd vibes which I love.
