Leaking vaillant ecotecpro dripping from under the boiler case no fault codes

🐰 leaking vaillant boiler🐰
Customer called to say their vaillant boiler was leaking but their heating and hot water were working fine which led me to believe it wasn’t a leak on the heating side as they have pressure sensors in which would have kicked in and shut the boiler down with an F22 fault…
When I arrived I saw a vaillant ecotecpro 28 sat on the wall with a bowl underneath dripping from the right hand side…
Whipped the case off to locate the leak….

Not sure these u tube vids are good for the trade, a lot is desired about checks not done, I.e. expansion vessel? auto air vent? mag filter ? Re-dose inhibitor? Like contract servicing/ repairing in& out ASAP...

Electricians have the same crowd on their videos. “Don’t teach the muggles this! They’ll all lick live wires and burn their houses down” etc… (code for “we’ll lose business”). News flash: the Internet exists. KZfaq is not the only place to learn how to do things you probably shouldn’t attempt. These are products. They have service manuals that leaked online 10 years ago. Ship has sailed. Stop hand-wringing about it and get on with your life.
