This video is an answer to a lot of questions by aspiring professionals in building a career in Lean-Six Sigma. A structured approach to progressing in this profession with the recommendation from my personal experience from building awareness in six sigma to Green belt, Blackbelt, and Process Consultant. Details here are more inclined towards someone working in the service industry and not manufacturing. This video also contains a review about job openings in LinkedIn related to Six Sigma and companies provide the opportunity. Thanks for the video it really helps a lot but I want to know more like I have experience of 3 years in customer service so If I get certified for green belt then where can I apply for a job and what will be the job profile or position as I have no experience in lean six sigma but having experience in customer service for 3 years, so please update me regarding the same.

Hi Renuka, Your experience is valuable, I started my career in O2C domain as well. Six sigma of-course gives a foundation, it teaches you how to solve a problem, changes your perspective, and improve presentation skills. However keep in mind, we need to continuously up-skill. AI and automation is currently trending, try and learn more around that.

Hi Ronit, start with a green belt and then progess into Blackbelt. Always take learning in a structured way unless you already have a fair knowledge and practical experience in this area.

Ravi, the certification can help you with applying for lateral or horizontal roles within your organization depending on your company policies. Apart from that you can try for operations such as sales order management, after sales, customer relationship, collections and cash applications, and many such process related jobs.
