Thank you for saying it in 30 seconds! Lean Six Sigma is about achieving better Customer Value. I know how that important that is, but I really don't want to do that kind of logistical job. In my opinion, this is for people with aspirations to be in "Management". I like to work "for" Management, as an Engineer, but I NEVER want to become a Manager myself. They give me objectives and goals, and I make them into "reality"; aka "products". I like working in the Lab too much!

Yes but the important thing in today's environment is being aware of the terminology and, indeed, many orgs are asking that you are certified in Lean Six Sigma - generally only like a 5-day course or something - but totally agree with you, it is basically common sense.

@@kingmelanin7468 It can be implemented in all areas/industries. As mentioned by others, when you work in an decent sized organization you need to have a documented processes to do common sense things. Also, the presenter did mention that the objective is to add value "from the customers point of view". Think of a situation where a company issuing rebate checks says it will take six weeks after we get your submission. Its in company's interest to don't issue the check before 6 weeks, however from a customer's point of view "what the heck are they doing, they already have my receipt and form" :)

this is the most confusing certificate i have ever seen. I found its certification online on many different web sites at different prices...i read on forums one opinion and people's experience on what price they paid and then get a link to a certification for a price that is 70% lower...is it a scam, or are there some scam web site for it...I really can't figure it out. What is the true cost and what is the correct way of certification.

SERDAROTmkd Really sorry to hear you’re having this trouble. ASQ is the most respected certification for Lean and Six sigma certification. ASQ is an acronym for American Society for Quality. I’ve been in this field for over 20 years (have my own coaching business and KZfaq channel) I wouldn’t steer you wrong 😄 Hope everything works out. Take care.

He is actually speaking and explaining while he draws. So, technically, that is not "wait" or "waste". Were these parts of the video, the ones in which he draws, all quiet and keeping you waiting for him to start speaking again, definitely that would be waste. Not the case though...
