My father bought the family a legit pro pool table for my ninth birthday. I felt like I got screwed...it was NOT what I wanted. Dad taught me how to play and it was really cool to bond with him over that table and a mutual appreciation of the sport. By the time I was 14, I was playing in pool halls around Cincinnati for a dollar a ball. Bought my own custom cue for my sixteenth birthday. After I got my first car, I was traveling the tri-state and making fat stacks. Good times. Thanks dad...I'll see you upstairs. Rack 'em.

@@franscofate3270 Pretty sure it is rigged back spin sometimes follows somehow
@otsdarvafoxxfyre2 жыл бұрын
@@randomlygeneratedname7171 if you hit it too far away the back spin basically gets eliminated while the ball is moving across the table. Cross-table shots usually have enough time for the balls spin to slow enough, it starts to roll in the normal direction and just behaves like a normal shot. If I do put back spin English on a shot, I usually offset it slightly off center so it's less likely to just follow the other ball into the hole. And topspin English is never used on straight on shots bc the cue will just follow the ball, but it's useful for a combo shot off of another ball so the cue rolls clear of the others

If you want to practice I would suggest spending $50-$75 on your own pool cue and going to a pool hall. Bar pool cues are often heavily worn. Also make sure to chalk your tip after every hit.

This ball can teach a beginner the miscue limit, how much bottom is needed for a stun shot, how left or right English throws the object ball, etc. This is also a great training tool to practice hitting center ball. You hit it, see where you left your chalk mark, and bam, instant feedback. Just be ause you can knock a few balls around with your drunk buddies doesn't mean you're the almighty pool God.
