We use the phrasal verbs "run into" and "bump into" to talk about collisions with people. But these two are also commonly used to talk about people meeting other people accidentally.
Eg : He ran into Kamal.
This might mean that He physically came in contact (collided) with Kamal or he merely met Kamal unexpectedly.
