This is a detailed how to video tutorial. Showing you everything from the raw 3d print, to the finished airbrushed & painted figurine.
Yes, it was a long video this time around cause it really was a lot to this resin figurine. And naturally we wanted to share all the steps we tok toward the finished product, with everyone who shares our passion.
We did however break the tutorial into two main categories.
Firstly.
All the steps we take to prepare a raw resin 3D print to be painted.
Secondly.
From primer, to a fully painted figurine.
The different painting technique’s & Styles Nstuff.
We really hope you enjoy it;)

I still think this could have benefited from some minor shading/highlights, as if you look at anime figures, even ones that retain that cartoony style of painting, they're shaded to make them pop more. Still a great video with a lot of excellent tips and tricks for modellers!

Hey, just wondering why you used two part expoxy to fill the wave parts instead of just printing them solid?
@PropsNstuff
@PropsNstuff Жыл бұрын
Hey there Mark. Yes, that would be much faster and easier. And I just got myself a new Saturn 2 8K resin printer, so now it will go nicely I belive😁 But sadly, printing the parts solid on my other resin printer. The one in the video. It failed every time😳 Maybe I should have spent even more time in CHITUBOX slicing n'stuff. But I simply think it wasn't strong enough. So an excellent excuses to get a new one😁👌 Have a good one, cheers
