I am going to use this tutorial to train myself to do handstands and to walk on my hands. Thanks for creating it, brotato. Eventually, I will make sure to come back to this video and/or comment, and provide an update. Once I accomplish handstands and am able to walk on my hands, I am going to try out your kip up tutorial.

like he said, you walk with your feet and you can stand on your toes. so, apply that mindset to your hands (your 2 arms being your legs and your fingers being your toes, so that you can put more strength to your fingers like how you can stand with your toes only) and yeah......

First focus. Then for the first 30 seconds, practice being hot. After that, commit to losing your friends and being a d-bag for a minute. It's OK, your going to be popular and everything once this is over. Alright, now for a minute and a half lightly flirt with a hot chick while being a self centred d-bag. At this point all your old nice friends are making fun of you, but it's OK your gonna have a girlfriend. For another minute, ask the girl for her number while still caring only about yourself. You only have a minute left, so for 30 seconds ask her out, and for the last 30 seconds be an inconsiderate d-bag, while having a girlfriend.

first of all: you cannot think to hand stand just after 5 minutes of training. Your wrists need to get used to your body weight. You hands need time to understand how to correct micro-movements not to lose equilibrium. If you just train all of a sudden and training a lot you risk to get wrist pain which could endure days. Second thing in my opinion the best way for a guy who never hand standed is to train against a wall. Why? Cause a newbie doesn't know how to properly correctif they push themselves too much and they would risk to harm seriously. With a wall there wouldn't be such a problem. Plus: hand standing helped by a wall helps you training your muscles without thinking too much about equilibrium.
@honeycombfromheaven
@honeycombfromheaven 7 жыл бұрын
That's what I was thinking the entire video! It's easy to say "it's all in your mentality to do it in 5 minutes" when you. already HAVE the requisite strength and control. It's better to start with more basic handbalance poses like frogstands and wall handstands, so you can understand exactly how to control your balance with your hands, without risking serious injury. Also confidence is one of the biggest factors and a newbie will take time to get used to it.

0:42 there is a heel on your hand. IT'S CALLED THE HEEL OF YOUR HAND
@wellnesspathforme6236
@wellnesspathforme6236 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, but look how far the heal of your foot is behind the ankle, and compare that to the basically nothing that is behind where your forearm connects to your wrist. It is all about the physics, and they are very different in this case, which he correctly pointed out.

@@ceilingfanenthusiast6041 No worries. Let's make this discussion very valuable -- search "Morley Robbins" on KZfaq to learn how to optimize your cellular energy production by increasing bio-copper and magnesium in your diet, and eliminating metallic iron filings. Christ, I used to walk on my hands all the time when I was a kid but lost the knack. I recall that I liked to get into a handstand by doing a cartwheel, but apart from that everything became hazy. Now it's all come back fresh. This was almost exactly, I how taught myself back when I had a child's intuition for movement. Time to get that skill back.
