***** In my city of Incheon, they offer very very inexpensive lessons to foreigners. It was like 20 bucks for like 2 months or something. But it was conversational classes. I didn't do classes at a university which probably would've been better. But my classes were very fast and I didn't learn any grammar. Just phrases.

That is because like the word 물 mul (water, but always sounding like bul) some of these words are easier to say like that when your lips are already in the closed position. Most of the time nae sounds like dae. I'm sure that when others are learning English they can have the same impression when native speakers talk really fast or in a heavy accent. Kinda neat. Hyunwoo shi at talktomeinkorean here on youtube also explains that in his grammer lesson level 1 lesson 3, I think it is.

These videos are so great. I love that you break down the word into the literal meaning - that helps me so much and other Korean learning tools I've come across do not do this. Please continue to break the word into its elements and their literal meaning as well as the implied/translated meaning. Thanks so much!

Hey there:) Thank you for your question! The reason it sounded differently from what was expected, is we have batchim rule which the original consonants get changed in sound when it is in the last consonant position! You could definitely find the video on this as it is quite important in Korean learning in our website - we have all-time free account with 7-days free trial, so no worries and just give it a try!;) Madison/Team Koreanclass101,com

I get where that comes from! so there are three ways o is used! first is as you said, place taker, another as ng(this is only when it comes to batchim) and the last, sounds like o literally as in Orange! So when o becomes the first word, then it usually is used to sound like O but when there is o in the batchim of previous word or so, then it becomes place taker! also when it becomes ng, that's only when o becomes batchim! does it make sense to you? :) Koreanclass101,com

Vicky tee is right. the correct way to say it is "미안해 (Mianhe)" but when ㅁ=M sound is pronounced quickly or lazily. it often sounds like ㅂ=B. another example of this would be 안녕 하십니까? annung ha shib ni gga = how are you? is usually pronounced as "안녕 하심니까?" annung ha shim ni gga hope that helped ^.~

the differences between that is like more polite way to more friendly way..for example 고마워 (gomawo) is for friends, people closed to you. adding the 요(yo) at the end. it changes it as a bit more formal to say, but is not exactly for people you dont know,or older than you and like the other two similar as soo with 고마워 is not much of a difference, just another way of saying i think. soo with 감사함니다 (kamsanmida) is totally the polite way of saying thank you to some one. :)

Hey Fillatina! Think you are on the right track. As it is Korean which sounds quite differently from English, it's hard to exactly romanize the words.
