I just resurrected my study of Spanish after several years. I'm an advocate of the polyglot, Benny Lewis (Language Hacking -Spanish) who encourages that the best way to learn a language is to start talking. With that in mind, I just spoke with a friend who is originally from Colombia. She's agreed to be one of my conversation study buddies. We're getting together by phone this Saturday night for our first practice dialog and I suggested that we focus on weather for that first conversation. Well, I was truly pleased to come across this video. It was squarely on the subject and gives me a leg up, which in turn gives me greater confidence that I can "do it". I think that you are a great teacher (I was previously a training professional and currently an environmental educator) and I look forward to exploring your channel. Thank you - keep up the good work.

It's cool that you don't think that rainy weather is bad. I like cloudy and rainy weather. Many people don't, and some research mentions that people's mood is at least slightly lowered on cloudy and rainy days.

Hahaha this just bring back funny memory, one time i went to a latin party and i said 'estoy caliente' insted of 'tengo calor' infront of this latin girl and she started kissing me for no reason and then i found out the actually meaning of estoy caliente🤣🤣🤣.never translate English to spanish again.😅🤣.

Excellent video. My only quibble is that clima really means climate, not weather. Every Spanish beginners book I've seen uses que tiempo hace as the phrase to ask about the wather.

First off, thanks for teaching expressions that are used in Mexico and in Mexican Spanish. Too many times our American made textbooks of the Spanish language feature Spanish from Spain, which is not always what is used in Mexico and in other countries per se. For instance, in Mexico, people use "clima" and not "tiempo" for 'weather'.
