Sirius is the best character from the mainseries Harry Potter books/movies. Outside of mainseries, Jacob from Fantastic Beasts is a contender.

Sirius and Lupin weren’t even that close?! He was only hanging out with Lupin because his best friend in the whole world James was dead and Peter obviously doesn’t count anymore so Lupin was the only left end they were friends by default due to lack of anyone else 🤷‍♀️ . They never had much in common during their marauder years with obviously James and Sirius being a smaller clique within their group. I’m not even sure if they’d be friends at all if it wasn’t for James who brought the 4 of them together. In other circumstances Sirius and Lupin probably wouldn’t even be bothered to interact with each other too much (I don’t think they’d dislike each other but Remus would be too studious and boring for Sirius and Sirius would be too reckless for Lupin so they’d be in two different circles of friends). Also it’s like everything has to be sexual these days and people can’t just have friends anymore🙄 Honestly people need to stop this delusion.
