Spoken English is a skill that students learn alongside of their more traditional studies. In this video I take you through one of my one-of-a-kind Ben Franklin exercises. We’ll use a movie clip to do a thorough analysis of the spoken English used and I’ll show you how to improve your spoken English as we go. I’ve developed this process for learning English over the last 10 years and my students have always loved it! Fascinating how you can elaborate on the pronunciation of a 30 second dialog during 30 minutes and I still take great delight in every moment of this thorough analysis. I gotta review all of your Ben Franklin videos. Just subscribed to the playlist. I alreeady watched some of them a few months ago, but I'll watch them again because there are some points I understand better after studying other resources. Just a question: what american accent does the actress playing the mother imitate ? Thanks again for your amazing videos. There are a lot of ESL/American Pronunciation KZfaq channels out there, but yours is definitely in my top tier, if not the absolute best of all (I mean it).

That is what I thought too!! I love Halsey's songs , but she sings really fast. There are too many linking sounds in her song. And learning linking pounce by listening to a song is pretty good to practice and could go over it over without feeling boring
