One of the things that helped me was finding a neighborhood with traffic circles. That and doing low-speed figure 8s in a large parking lot.

There are several reasons why you might have issues with left turns. 1. Usually as you drive on the right side of the road, your brain knows the left side means more danger, so you subconsciously make it harder for yourself to turn left. 2. If your left eye is a bit weaker than the right one, the brain works around that by compensating, but that also throws you off a bit when moving faster than walking speeds. Because our brains are not really made to work perfectly with speeds which our body is not meant to achieve on its own. 3. If you have a imbalance between the left and right side of your body (which almost every person has). Working a job that involves using mainly one hand or turning your torso to 1 side can contribute a lot to this. 4. Being right handed, means your body is more used to taking the correct position when involving a stress on the right hand/side. If you have the wrong body position when doing left turns, you will be insecure and at some point have close call(s) or dropping the bike, which will in turn make you even more scared of left turns and put you in a loop. A lot of practice can train your brain to ignore/work through that to a degree. Once you get into rhythm on a very twisty road, you will do it without thinking too much and have a lot of fun.

It’s funny how we favour left or right turns! I can’t remember what mine is but it was noticeable!

So.. havent watched the vid yet but.. when going round a bend to your left push your left arm forward. And lean slightly left. You dont turn the same way you are wanting to lean. Same for opposite push right arm to have a good lean to the right

I've been riding mountain bikes for years and years, and I found that as far as turning and lean angle, the bike translates to the motorcycle very well. That and spend 10-15 minutes doing slow speed maneuvers every time you go riding. I hope that helps! (Keep the ninja 400)!!

Work on leaning more into the turn and trail breaking in turns. Trail breaking will get you to a point where your confident before continuing the turn. Good luck

It is the opposite of a bicycle if you turn your bars left you will lean right if you turn them to the right you will lean to the left and do what Denied say’d good luck

Tips on keeping throttle hand steady?

move your butt, brother. slide a cheek off. don't worry about hanging your leg or foot placement, just slide your butt over and get comfortable with that. at first you will be twisted resisting the lean, but after butt moved leaning upper body will meet where your lower body is at..That's my advice:P not that you asked. but otherwise you're killing it bro! Ride your own ride, love it.
