Leaving your family after getting married is so tough! You go from living with them your whole life to now having to leave them. It can be sad, stressful, and very overwhelming. Excuse the rambling, but I felt the same way when I left my family. However, life does get easier and you end up creating an amazing home for you and your husband.

Does anyone else find her voice so soothing? Lol I'm an army wife and I've been apart from my husband who is finishing up training and your videos are always so helpful! It's a big transition. I really needed to see this video. I’m newly married and my husband and I are moving overseas soon. I’ve never lived away from home, not even for college & I am so close with my parents and sibling. I cry every time I think about leaving and I’m so worried about how this move is going to affect me and my families relationship. Thank you so much for validating my feelings.

ChantiBianca haha no you're not weird. Some people just find it easier. Usually first borns have the hardest time- which I am haha and youngest it's easier. But it just depends haha

This is crazy. I really needed this video. I’m getting married in 9 months and I’m already panicking. I live in Ireland and my fiancé is from the Netherlands so I’ll be leaving behind my family and friends for a new country and a new language. And even though I’m super excited to be married and finally close the distance and live with my fiancé ... I am petrified. I look at him and how he’ll still be around his family and friends, in his country speaking his language and I can’t help but think it’s unfair ?

Aw, it's hard to move away from home. Even if is just around the block. It takes time to get used to it. I used to get so home sick. Even when I go on vacation. Home is where you make it 💜

This helped me so much, I’m struggling already because I know when me and my boyfriend get married one day which will be in a year before he gets a different station I’m struggling with even thinking about leaving my family especially my mom because I have a strong bond with her too and I just want to cry sometimes because I don’t want to leave my home but I do want to be married to my man too. Thank you for this

Thanks for the tips! My husband and I will most likely be moving sometime next year for our first pcs after he gets back from Korea. I am so completely nervous and scared to leave my home! 😩😩

thank you so much for this video! it really helped. my fiancé and I are getting married in December and I'm the youngest in my family so part of me doesn't want to leave yet but like most of me is like "YEEEEAH ADVENTURE!" also, do you think you could make a video on like advice for a younger couple? like, say, 19 and 21 year old type of young? really enjoyed this video along with your others!

I get married next October and my mom and I are already getting emotinal. Being a daddy's girl isn't helping either 😔 I wish I could just get married and stay at home! Haha thank you for the video, girly. I'm happy that I'm not alone in this. It'll be the worst day of my life moving out and turning in my key 😢😭
