The Thing That’s Genuinely Funny About That Team Was How Dominant That Team Was Despite Wade Being Injured And Leaving His Prime. I Genuinely Can’t Imagine What ‘13 LeBron & Like ‘11 Wade Would’ve Did Together. They Won 27 Straight Games , 66 Wins Overall & Had A 43 Game Stretch In Which They Went 41-2 Up Until They Loss Game 1 Against Chicago In The 2nd Round. They Loss More Games Than They Would Have In The Playoffs Probably Because Wade Was Injured Dealing With 3 Bone Bruises In His Knee & His Other Knee Had Borderline Arthritis. He Averaged 16 PPG In The Playoffs But Was Able To Turn It Up At Key Moments. Game 7 Vs Indy , Game 4 Vs Spurs & Game 7 Vs Spurs. Honestly Was Great From Game 4 To Game 7 Of That Finals Series. They Did All That WITHOUT PRIME WADE. I Cant Even Imagine The Damage They Wouldve Did With A Full Strength Wade.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is the true origin of small ball before the Warriors took it to the next level
@Phizzo4real
@Phizzo4real Ай бұрын
"5 out"... yup. Ppl think "small ball entails a "smaller lineup." Yes, it is a part of it, but it is mostly being able to free up the post and 5 players playing primarily on the perimeter. It makes DHOs, and kockouts deadlier.
@reynaldi2297
@reynaldi2297 Ай бұрын
@@Phizzo4real thanks for the insights! I often use the terms very loosely but the idea that I had in mind is very simple, to take the opposing center out of the paint area and allows the ballhandler to drive
@stolekostov5111
@stolekostov5111 Ай бұрын
The origin of smallball and everything you see today are the 2006 Phoenix Suns. Amare goes down with a knee injury, Boris Diaw is the 5, Shawn Marion is the 4, Nash Barbosa and Dudley. Run and gun, pace and space. Give D'Anthony his credit. Heatles were using the concept but still had great players. That Suns squad overachieved so much that it robbed Kobe/ Shaq of an MVP
@Nomofood

@natevanderw

@@stolekostov5111 Yes and no. 2006 Suns experimented with it, but it didn't stick because they failed to win a chip with it. It wasn't until 2012-2013 that a small ball team dominated which subsequently defined the small ball era. up until 2021 or so when nowadays 90% of traditional 4's and 5's can shoot the 3

Audio is crunchy or spicy or treble turned up. I get it it, peaky is occasionally fine, but for these long talks double mic them with 5 total mics; two personal lavalier mics one dialed up to catch lows, the other dialed low to catch the peaks, so that's 4 and then use a Rode shotgun mic to just capture the space. Who's got the budget for these and who's running the show? I get it, things happen, but with Lebron and JJ I mean, I'd think ya'll could find the resources for it. Happy this is a preview so you can run the entire thing through Adobe PP and just have AI clean up whatever you captured. Cheers and thanks for hearing my hyper criticism on production. I mean, we're listening to this more than we're watching this. I'm done.. My bad, all love. Nobody's getting fired just correct it. I'm not looking for a job, just put the level of effort and care into what you're doing as these men have in their careers. You gotta match that level of excellence. As JJ said, "...you could have been at your best...". Love love. Sorry, all love. This isn't even about basketball, this long note. It's about audio. Audio is everything. Everything is audio. Basketball is audio. Audio is basketball.

As a Bulls fan, I wanted nothing more than to beat the Heat in the early 2010s. We were a 60 win team with a dominant defense, and needing to contain LeBron and Wade with a tough close out on either Bosh or Haslem was the thing that broke our team.

@@bigdawg5150 yeah they didn’t talk about it much in the video but the Heat blitzed the D Rose PnR action and with the athleticism on the help side it was really hard to score in that series.
