There's a really simple way to discern the two bands... Kiss = make-up and advertising. Led Zeppelin = 4 of the best musicians ever assembled in one band. It's pretty clear what the output was...

Sorry babe but kiss can never compare to led Zeppelin once you touched on them you go down a rabbit hole of all of their songs and let me tell you they are the best of the best their drummer is epic Robert plant sings like no other they've been my favorites since I was a young girl I had all their records back then, I still listen to them today and I'm 65 no one does music better than led Zeppelin

When Led Zeppelin burst onto the music scene back in late 1968, they very quickly became the biggest band in the world. They pretty much kept that status throughout the seventies until the untimely death of their drummer, John Bonham in 1980. The remaining three band members decided they couldn’t continue without him and so split up. Their music style was mainly blues rock, heavily influenced by black American blues but were able to turn their talents to any type of music which they often did.

This is the studio version with live performance images. The studio version was released in 1969, not the 80s or 90s, not even the 70s. By 1980 the LZ had disbanded after their drummer died.

I will tell you two things: if you start with Zeppelin I, song one, and move through their discography for at least the first 5 albums(1969-1973), you will gain subscribers quickly. We follow reactors doing “The Zeppelin Run”. And secondly, because they were masters of blues/rock, folk/rock, hard rock, even prog rock and also incorporated Indian and North African musical influences into their songs, you will get a very solid grounding in what was possible in rock music in the 70’s. There’s no better teacher than this iconic and legendary band. That’s not hyperbole. Just fact. What The Beatles were to the 60’s as influencers of music, Zeppelin was to the first half of the 70’s. They were the biggest band in the world snd in the top 5 artists in history in albums sold

This is one of their most psychedelic songs - perhaps not the best introduction - I would suggest "Ramble On" and then "Dazed and Confused"

This was the song that ended the 1960s and kick started the 1970s. Released Autumn 1969 on the album Led Zeppelin II (Zeppelin never released singles in their UK homeland) . Top of the Pops used it as the theme tune for many years. The footage is of various concerts from 1969 to 1979. 👍✌️

Awesome reaction! you need to delve more into Led Zeppelin. I would highly recommend checking out the song "Stairway to Heaven" off of the album Led Zeppelin IV. Please listen to the studio version off of the album. That will give you a better understanding and appreciation of the song over any live version. I subscribed. Peace

you spoke of live concerts being "magical". you have no idea, give "Since I've been Loving You" and/or "Stairway To Heaven" from the 1973 concert at Madison Square Garden a listen. Note; the later of those two songs is consistently voted the #1 Rock song of all time by fans and Industry professionals. they released 8 studio albums and not one bad (or even mediocre) song in the bunch.

Any Led Zeppelin song works to continue the journey, but I’d recommend a live version of “In My Time of Dying”. Amazing version of an old blues song. In fact, “Whole Lotta Love” was recorded by Muddy Waters, so also a blues classic.
