Welcome to my channel! This is a music reaction channel. For the longest time, I've loved creating content on the internet. I started off with a gaming channel right here on KZfaq, which eventually turned into a Twitch gaming channel, but as time has gone on I've evolved into doing other things on KZfaq. For years now I've wanted to create a music channel on KZfaq, and recently just figured "why not?", so it’s time to give this a go! Give me any suggestion you have for music reactions, and I will do my best to get around to them. As music has fallen further out of my life, I figured this would be a great time to get reintroduced to music.
If you enjoy this video and my reactions make sure you subscribe to the channel, like the video and comment down below which video you would like to see me react to next.
This is a reaction video used to educate and give my feedback on the song and artists.

Just to add, the reason they didn't get together more often was Robert Plant, who point blank refused to not for any amount of money and they were offered mega money. Losing his best friend ended him, but before that he had lost his five year old son in 77 , there was a lot of tragedy for him and his family. That concert in 2007 was at the O2 arena capacity 22,000, ticket applications were over 20 million ! Watch the whole Celebration Day concert it's amazing

Spot on Julie, he played church organ when he was younger too as far as I remember, and playing “bass” with your feet is a major component of mastering that art. John Paul Jones is a multi instrumentalist in its truest sense. He took a lot of load of Jimmy Pages back in the studio too, both of them having that deep understanding of how to arrange and perform a song on a recording and then transplanting it to a live setting. A lot of us consider him the secret sauce in the band. Cheers 🍺

The thing for me with JPJ is, that every piece of the band is great on it's own, but he is the one that holds it all together, if you want to say so.@@stefanconradsson And you can totally hear that when you listen to the performances Plant and Page did without him. There is a key piece missing.

Sadly, but in 1980 Led Zeppelin did disband when Bonzo died. The band could not continue, There was only ONE John Bonham.. The chemistry amongst the original 4 could not be replaced. From the beginning, they were masters of improv. They didn't like playing a song the same way.. On stage, they would take many of their songs and in totally different directions.. Taking some 5-min. songs and stretch them out to sometimes 30 mins. And the song would come out as if it was written and rehearsed. The band instincts were off the charts. As good as Jason (his son) is. He could not replace his father. nor any other drummer could.. R.I.P. Bonzo

Yes, that is definitely true. It is well known that Jimmy Page has acquired most, if not all, the illegal bootlegs on the market, and has listened to them. But Jason is also a true connoisseur of live Zeppelin recordings. During rehearsals for this concert, he asked Jimmy and company whether they wanted him to play according to the Seattle 75 version of No Quarter or what ever it was. They all laughed at him and thought it was great that he had that kind of detailed knowledge. Cheers 🍺

I am amazed at how well Plant has maintained his singing voice as he has gotten older. I saw a recording recently where he was singing in a blues jam session, he was singing a Muddy Waters song and it was really good. I think I like his older singing voice the best, seems more soulful.

Now as someone who has been listening to Zeppelin for over 50 years, and Kashmir is my favorite song. At the time of this show they'd been apart for 26, 27, years. With a couple of exceptions, they hadn't played together for a full set. This song is 30+ years old at the time. With Jason on his dad's drum kit they nail this song. John Paul played the mellotron on the album, Physical Graffiti, which he plays the keyboard parts with his hands and the bass, and other instruments with his feet. Here he's got a couple of keyboards, one being a synthesizer I believe where he gets all those other fans.

Well…… They could not continue as Zeppelin without Bonzo. Jimmy Page did form the band The Firm..,released two albums…then a solo album, then an album with David Coverdale from Whitesnake and Deep Purple (which is very good indeed) in early 90’s….the reunited with Plant for five years or so and toured the old Zeppelin songs, but changed up to more acoustic and Eastern sounding with an Egyptian orchestra……REALLY good! Then Jimmy toured briefly with The Black Crowes….then moved into remastering the Zeppelin albums. After this 2007 concert, he basically retired from live playing…..a great loss I think. He never found others he wanted to play with. He was always looking for another Robert and never did …..not after Coverdale. Robert went on to have a successful solo career, which he is still doing. Many iterations, many bands that he formed, several collaborations. It’s sad Zeppelin died along with Bonzo…..but, quite honestly…..that probably saved Jimmy’s life. He was so strung out by then……and went so down after Bonzo’s death for a couple of years. It’s kind of a miracle he made it through.

If I am recalling the timeline correctly I think Bonham's death was just the final straw. Bonham was drinking heavily and homesick, Jimmy's heroin addiction, Plant's loss of his son.....I think it would have happened anyway imo.
