Cool. No one ever reacts to this song and it goes to show that even the less well known Zeppelin tunes are still damn good! Thanks for taken the road less traveled.

Every song Zep ever did was a "different color." They could play anything - any genre, any feel, any style - brilliantly.

iAm Zac React lol I was 18 when I discovered Zeppelin, I’m 28 now and so obsessed I’ve resorted to watching people listening too it to remember how I felt 😂 When you start watching their live stuff, it will truly blow you away. Rain song live 1973 Since I’ve been loving you live 1973 it will hit you so deep and leave you speechless. It doesn’t get any better. Trust me.

"Ten Years Gone"! That's a great Zeppelin track that tends to fly under the radar. Has a mellower vibe kinda similar to this one.

This song was written by Jimmy after a breakup (obviously). That's John Paul Jones (their bassist) on organ. He was the choir master for his church when he was 14. During the time they recorded their first album, their ages ranged from 19 to about 24. Can you imagine? Their early songs were a bit short; they hadn't found their groove but you'll see...your time is gonna come (pardon the pun).

The best way to experience Zeppelin is from the very beginning. They never disappoint live, maybe in your own time listen to the studio and the live back to back.

You will find on your Zeppelin journey that they have a song for every mood and emotion a person can have. I was born in 69 and have older siblings that turned me onto Zeppelin early enough to where I don’t remember not being a Zeppelin fan. I started playing guitar because of Jimmy Page like most of the world since 1968.

That is one of the most amazing things. Except for Since I've Been Loving You and Tea For One, which seem very similar (but nobody is complaining), no other song sounds like another. Truly eclectic and very very creative and the ideas just seemed to keep coming for these guys.

By the way, many Zep songs go right into the next and are connected, and some have long endings. Really, the whole album at once is the way to go, it is all planned to give you the perfect ride and no details get missed.

Led Zeppelin was around from late 1968 until 1980. All songs you’ve been listening to are from their very first album, released in the beginning of 1969.. Listen to Stairway to Heaven from 1971 and you’ll hear something very different. You are only listening to the very beginning of Led Zeppelin (albeit that was a great debut album...)

Great reactions! You have discovered the GOAT. All 4 members created masterpieces equally. You should continue listening to Zep 1, then move to Zep ii, see how the progressed. I’ve been a fan of theirs since early 70s. No other band can compare in my opinion.

Sorry if this is a double-post, but it’s interesting that rock reviewers at the time (notably Rolling Stone) hated this album and Led Zeppelin II. I was a teenager at the time and we loved these first two records. Classic example of critics telling us what we should and shouldn’t like. We ignored them.

It sounds a bit like a Rolling Stones song. On google it said it reflects Page's views on women at the time - that they were deceitful and inferior to men (the same views as Aleister Crowley whom Page idolized at the time). To me it indicates that Page as a lyricist, without Plant, was not as appealing as when Plant started songwriting for Led Zep. When Plant wrote, the credits were generally shared as Page/Plant.
