More like "Big Ego/Sense of his importance in History" ... until he realized he's been played like a sucker (amongst others by his Russian aristocratic friend and ex-CIA agent George DeMorenshildt).
@kegadolll
@kegadolll 7 жыл бұрын
How was Oswald played like a sucker? I mean he did it. To assert that he didn't do it, one would have to compulsively deny, excuse, and ignore the orgy of evidence all directly pointing to his obvious guilt, and that's way more ludicrous and unreasonable than anything. Oswald fired shots at General Walker not long before and went to Mexico, during his failing marriage, to bug the USSR and Cuban embassies to take him because he still believed he was important and worth citizenship from those place when neither of them wanted him at all. He was rejected and went back to Texas in complete defeat. I mean he took shots at Kennedy from the exact place a ton of people said they heard shots fired, a place Oswald works, and (not so) coincidentally he was the only employee missing which led the police to put out an APB which is how and why Tippit probably stopped him. Oswald shot him because he panicked and tried to get away. It's not exactly magical reasoning - that's what a guilty and panicked culprit would do. I mean how would you explain all of this away, against all logic, common sense, and critical thinking, to prop up a conspiracy theory? If you or anyone wants to lay out the "real" story, it's your burden of proof to put up the evidence and back it up. Good luck with that because I assure you that if you put 10 Kennedy conspiracy theorists in a room, they'll walk out with at least 11 conspiracy theories. That's precisely because they don't operate on any actual evidence but their biases, beliefs, and the way they want to put information together. Say what you will about the Warren Commission but their report is there to be read and lays it all out pretty convincingly and backed up by a shit ton of evidence every step of the way.

It also speaks volumes that when he's asked point blank on live TV if he shot Kennedy, Oswald doesn't melt down, go into a panic, scream a horrified denial, express any particular surprise, beg protection for his family, or make the slightest attempt to blurt out anything about any conspiracy, instead just giving a hollow, rambling reply that all but dodges the question.

@@aaronz7056 I've read that Oswald was clever for someone of his low level of education. He certainly craved notoriety and at that moment, he had a huge platform to say what he wanted and you're correct his response was insignificant ...he had also just shot a police officer and that point is accepted as fact by almost everyone... he was in way over his head. He understands from this moment the manipulation of which he has been the victim and he did not imagine that he would be killed in the hours that will follow to silence him definitively. If he appeared for all to see in front of the press (your idea), he would pass for a madman; moreover it is not the protocol for an undercover agent to panic by shouting "help" in the face of the world (haha) No need to repeat the fable Warren, nobody believes in it today Have a good day

For a man that a lot of people have accused of being guilty, he was either the greatest actor in history for the way he responded, or he was actually (brace yourself) innocent and finding out about it just then, on camera, you can see the news hit him hard. Now, if he actually did it, had wanted to do it, planned on it, knew the risks of getting caught (execution) he would have (I believe) taken that moment to say either yes, he did it. Or say he had no comment or something other than what he said. Every other presidential assassin did not hesitate to admit they did it and tell the world why. They loved the attention. Oswald didn't act like the others. No known motive, no paper trail in his words showing a hatred for Kennedy. Just exactly what do people think was his motive or what would he gain or change by doing it. The answer is there isn't any motive or personal gains. Other people benefited from it (the CIA, the Bush family, Nixon, and lastly, Lyndon Johnson whom hated both JFK and Robert Kennedy) And as we all know, Robert was assassinated a few years later. 🤔

Not mine. That he claimed to be a "patsy" indicates he was knowingly in on a conspiracy to assassinate the President, even if he didn't fire the fatal round. The Mannlicher-Carcano rifle showed it had been fired, and were not the expended casings recovered? No sympathy whatsoever, under Texas law, he'd have faced the death penalty anyway and deservedly so. Jack Ruby cheated justice by preempting Oswald's trial and likely conviction and execution; the cretin ought to have "fried" in the electric chair. It's utter irony that Ruby himself was initially sentenced to death for Oswald's murder, but due to his confession being improperly obtained under Texas law, the conviction was overturned and a new trial was set to be held in Wichita Falls. However, that never happened, as Ruby fell ill, and was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He died on Jan 3, 1967, at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, the final irony in this tragic episode.

Oswald has a disturbing demeanor after his arrest. He looks annoyed, angry and disillusioned, as if the fact that he's going to be the fall guy for everything is just dawning upon him. His grimace at the end of the conference, when he's asked what he did in Russia, maybe shows his despair at the fact that he's going to take the fall for this, and it was a setup all along. Add to that the fact that standing in front of him at the back of the room was none other than Jack Ruby (who roamed around the police office freely during most of the time he was held there and who, according to James Douglass' fantastic book JFK AND THE UNSPEAKABLE, was supposed to shoot Oswald at the press conference but lost his nerve until the next morning), whom he probably just recognized. He certainly KNEW then that 1) he'd been set up and 2) he'd better shut the f** up (which explains his silence in front of the press about all he actually knew about the conspiracy).

+Walter Butler 1. Yes 2. He took it up to assassinate the president. 3. When the cops came to her house to ask if he had a rifle she pointed toward the garage. She had yet to know the president was dead. Moreover, if her husband was actually innocent then that means powerful people are framing him. Would you disobey their questions so blatantly? 4. Once again, his rifle. 5. Not sure about his handwriting, never seen that. 6. Bullet fragments found match his gun? Easy. Whoever controls the investigation controls the evidence. The US government were the detectives in charge of this. They can hide or manufacture all the evidence discovered. If Oswald gets arrested for any crime they can search his house and acquire anything he has. Just like how they took over the autopsy from Dallas by illegally moving it to Washington. Ever wonder how JFK's brain went missing and has yet to be found, not the mention the pristine condition of the magic bullet? 7. I dunno if he did tell the postal inspector that. If it's true please state your source. Let's be honest, the chances Oswald was completely innocent and ignorant of the plot are highly unlikely. The chances of him acting alone are extremely unlikely, the chances of him being involved in the conspiracy then being set up to take the fall then assassinated by the people he was working with in order to prevent him from asserting claims that could bring down the the conspiracy which inevitable leads to the collapse of certain powerful people in high government positions..... 99.99% likely. Hell, Ex-CIA director Helms proclaimed in 1979 that Oswald did indeed have personal relationships with david ferrie and shaw which no doubt came from the congressional investigation conducted in 1976-1979 where they stated that JFK death was most likely a conspiracy. I'm shocked that there is still debate over this issue.. Isn't it ovbious to everyone what really happened? =\

The best question was asked by a reporter, "Did you kill the president?" He answers, "No I have not been charged with that." Distinction between doing something and being charged with doing something. He is being deceptive in his answer. And then he uses the word "yet" -- "nobody has said that to me yet" If you were innocent there would not be a "yet" unless you had some knowledge of the possible consequences of your actions. If you shoot someone at 12:30pm and flee the crime scene while the president is being transported to the hospital and you hide in a movie theater after shooting and killing a cop, you might not have been around a television by 1pm to see the announcement broadcast that he was dead. The biggest lapse is that there was allegedly an assassination attempt on Kennedy in Chicago 20 days earlier that the Secret Service appears not to have followed up on and the Warren Commish didn't look into it.

Oswald's prints were on the sniper nest boxes in exactly the places they would have been had he assembled and used the nest. A man was seen firing in the window who could plausibly have been Oswald. No unidentified persons were ever seen or caught inside the TSBD, and they certainly never came down the stairs. Autopsy shows the shots came from behind. No bullets or fragments were ever found that did not match to Oswald's rifle. Connally's said the shots all came from behind. Witnesses under the window said the shots all came from directly overhead. Anybody firing a rifle on the knoll would have been absurdly obvious to everybody in the area. No conspiracy would assume in a million years it could frame this on a lone shooter while firing away from multiple directions. Oswald was the one and only TSBD employee inside the building to immediately flee the plaza. Oswald took evasive action to get to his other gun, ignoring his cab driver and landlady when they tried to talk to him. A long and steady chain of witnesses demonstrate Oswald shooting Tippit, locking eyes with one of them, smiling at one, exchanging words with one, fleeing, reloading, muttering audibly, trying to hide in the storefront, and ducking into the theater as the heat grew. Oswald was caught red-handed trying to shoot a second cop minutes later with the same gun. Oswald owned the revolver. The bullets from Tippit were matched to Oswald's revolver. Oswald lied to police, Oswald refused to cooperate with investigators. Oswald slept like a baby in his cell. Oswald turned down offers of help from the President of the Dallas Bar Association pending learning whether he could get his first choice, a lawyer he'd never met who specialized in left-wing causes. Oswald acted so smug when his family visited him in jail he even convinced his own brother he was guilty. Oswald, asked point blank on live TV if he shot the President, shows no particular surprise, no horror, no outrage, no empathy, doesn't gasp "What are you, nuts, of course not," doesn't beg protection for his family, doesn't make the slightest attempt to blurt out one word about any conspiracy and instead just warbles a hollow, rambling reply that all but dodges the question...

No. Does give a hollow, rambling reply that all but dodges the question and otherwise just complain the cop he was caught red-handed trying to shoot hit him? Yes.

@@soleknight3212 -- _”I believe he was involved in some way and at the scene, but not necessarily involved in the actual shooting.”_ Then why did he bring a loaded rifle to work, and why was that rifle found where he’d left it, recently fired, with spent shell casings alongside? Why was Oswald’s rifle matched to recovered bullets that struck the humans riding in the car? If Oswald wasn’t the shooter, but was a voluntary participant, then what exactly was his role? _” His reaction at the end to being told he has been charged (when he thought he was not) cannot be acted and speaks a million words.”_ “…cannot be acted…” Good grief, you don’t know much about liars, or actors. If your claim were true, then we could just do away with due process and evidence-based trials altogether, and instead just parade the accused for a minute in front of perceptive people like you, who’d instantly declare whether they were truth-tellers or prevaricators. Stop and think about what your claim amounts to, which is the suggestion that facial expressions or other mannerisms are sufficient to judge truth. That’s a very dangerous concept, friend. _”He was also killed by a man who was also then killed.”_ Nope. Ruby died of cancer while in prison. Do some genuine research. _”Not to mention, the assassination took place…in front of the world in a perfectly polished military style precision killing.”_ What do you know about “military-style, precision killings”, and what are your qualifications to judge one when you see it? Please explain why a secretive plot would commit murder in public, in front of hundreds of potential witnesses, instead of in a limited space, in controlled conditions, with assured escape. _”Why not on a normal Wednesday afternoon, when the president was walking into an office somewhere when the 'lone gunman' would have had a much better chance of getting his one chance at the kill?”_ That’s exactly what argues _against_ an organized plot. A lone nut has no opportunity to shoot a president walking into his office, only powerful, high-level forces (AKA a “conspiracy”) could possibly pull that off. A lone-nut must take his opportunities where he finds them, and without exception in American history, that has required attempting the act in public. Where else could it happen? Look at the history of actual and would-be presidential assassins, because they’ve all acted alone, and in public-Booth, Schrank, Czolgosz, Guiteau, Lawrence, Fromme, Hinckley _et al._ That’s the pattern, and a conspiratorial plot would be the _exception._ Your argument for that exception is not supported by evidence. Why such pomp and ceremony? I don’t know what you consider to be “pomp and ceremony,” so I can’t answer your question.

With his Russian wife. Everything else aside, how, HOW could a former military man who had defected and given up classified military info be welcomed home like that unless he was an intelligence officer? Follow up-if you believe he did the shooting, why would he wait to take the shot on Houston and Elm? 88 yards through heavy foliage with a defective scope and a shoulder rifle? He earned more at the radio factory than his supervisor. Also, he only slit ONE wrist and it was a minor wound. The Russian doctor said in his report that he believed it was a fake suicide attempt. Keep drinking the kool-aid.

Shawny3051, 1. Most witnesses said 3 shots were fired. 2. Harold Norman, worked at the TSBD with Oswald, was below the sniper's nest window and said he heard 3 shot directly above him. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rc1-kstzztPZm5s.html 3. After the assassination, Oswald was the only employee missing from the TSBD. 4. A rifle was found in the same place Oswald was working. It was registered to A. Hiddell 5. Oswald was the only employee missing from the TSBD after the assassination. 6. Less than an hour later Oswald shot officer JD Tippit in front of MULTIPLE witnesses kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qMCWerCG1p6rlIE.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gKh-nbtn0Ze6mYk.html 7. A little later someone saw Oswald sneak into a movie theater and called the police. When the police arrived, Oswald, in front of MULTIPLE witnesses, pulled the same gun he shot officer tippit with and said "this is it" as he tried to fire the gun at the officer that was approaching him. Luckily for the officer, he was able to grab the gun and his hand was between the hammer and pin when Oswald pulled the trigger which prevented the gun from firing. 8. When Oswald was searched, he had two IDs on him. One was for himself and the other was for A. Hiddell, the name the rifle was registered under. 9. Months earlier someone tried to assassinate general Walker at his home. The shot just missed because he happened to move his head at the time of the shot. Oswald's wife admitted that it was Oswald who fired the shot. 3 shots were fired. The first was around frame 160 of the Zapruder film, a shot that missed. The 2nd shot which struck both Kennedy and Connally occurs at frame 224 and clearly shows it came from behind. The 3rd fatal head shot occurs at frame 313. frames 312 and 313 CLEARLY shows Kennedy's head lunge FORWARD first. 3 shots fired. All from the rear. All from one gunman, Oswald.

Oswald confessed that day, yet nobody was interested in hearing it! He stated to the press, "I'm just a patsy"! And he was right! I always thought it was strange that back in 1963 when this happened, the police, secret service, FBI, CIA, and every other law enforcement department were able to get tons of info on Oswald. When the technology of the day wasn't that good like today! Even today it takes a while with high tech! Sounded like he was set up to me. I believe he was a Patsy! Some agency was feeding info out on Oswald like candy.
@aaronz7056
@aaronz7056 Жыл бұрын
It's called "investigating." Since he was a patsy, we can look forward to you explaining how the people framing him knew: - he would show up at the Paine house Nov 21, otherwise they can't pretend he smuggled the rifle - he wouldn't simply stand out on the sidewalk during the parade - no bullets or fragments would ever turn up that on't match to his rifle - he would immediately flee the TSBD - Officer Tippit won't simply outdraw and capture his attacker - Oswald would help frame himself trying to shoot a second cop minutes later - they can safely count on scores of police, FBI, Secret Service, military personnel, doctors, witnesses, x-ray technicians, ballistics experts, journalists, whole commissions, etc. to obey illegal orders to commit crimes and make themselves all accessories to murder and treason.
