@@DuBstep115 well technically the Viper V10 engine was also used in: 3rd gen Ram SRT-10, Dodge Tomahawk, Bitter GT1, a Chrysler 300 concept car, some Challenger drag pak, Spania GTA Spano, VLF Force 1, Alfa Romeo Zagato TZ3 Stradale, Millyard Viper V10 Motorcycle, and the 2nd gen Ram had a tuned-down version of the Viper v10 available. But still the LS is smaller and cheaper so get what you mean

You know the R/T10 IS a Viper engine, not the V10 magnum truck engine from the short lived V10 2500/3500s, don’t you? So yeah, it sounds just like a R/T10

The polar moment is too centered and weight transfer will be an issue on such a high ceter of gravity on such a short wheelbase. Weight distribution is only a small part of dynamic handling

It’s Heavier and makes less almost 100 less horsepower than an Ls3. Unless is a 3rd gen viper engine.. then is makes 15 more horsepower

not familiar with all of them but isn't exhaust also play a role? Like the path and shape of the manifold or headers, and whether or not the exhaust system is single or dual exit. (The crankshaft also plays a role to some extent if we are talking V8s) That's just the knowledge that I know, and I would like to learn more so if I'm not correct please let me know.

Why? Surely the chassis of a 240sx isn’t that much weaker than that of a Viper? They’re both cars designed in the same era, meaning they are subject to the same standards of crash testing and chassis rigidity. There is 240sx’s pushing 1000hp to the wheels on a completely stock chassis, so why is a 500hp V10 going to cause it to “snap out”?

I'm not necessary agreeing it cant handle it, but I wouldnt be surprised though. they can be from the same era and still be completely different. from different parts of the world, engineered for completely different setups. Personally, I’m wanting to put a 3.0 Duramax in a 65 coupe da ville convertible, right along with the 10L80 transmission, and the rear axle out of the Silverado 1500. I figure, if that truck can get upwards of 30 mpg, why can’t I drive a classic land yacht and give a Honda civic a run for its money mpg wise.

250 extra pounds isn't going to be that huge of a difference. you also have to take note that some of that extra weight sits further back in the chassis.
