As an Ipswich supporter, you now need to get focused on going to Norwich next weekend and getting a good result. They are crap away, so make Elland Road as noisy and fierce as possible and get to Wembley. Then beat WBA or Southampton and you will get the promotion your season deserves.

Last month has made me accept losing Summerville won’t be as bad as I thought. The moment he took his shirt off after that pen it showed it was the Summerville show in his head and now side before self. Invest the 40m into a deeper squad and we’ll be smashing the championship next season.

There are a few things that are irritating about this Joe fella. His blind optimism often borders on arrogance and spills into the realm of disrespect for the opposition. There is also an element of inconsistency which he cloaks in different guises. For example, he was stating during our purple patch that, as sure as the sun's rising, we would finish in the top two with a strong prospect of winning the league. He was adamant and refused to consider views contrary to his own. Yes, there was consistency to be sure. After QPR, he very sheepishly said, "I told you, we would finish in the play offs". Shifting the goalposts? Further, I could never come to terms with his persistence in legislating for farke's shortcomings and bamford's continued flops. Happily, Unsubscribed!
