For Philosophy Socdems are fake leftists. They're nothing but a bunch of cryptocapitalists who would sooner side with oligarchs, despots, fascists and aristocrats than those they call comrades. We need to call them out on their bullshit.

@@buffaloc20 Aww we hate you too~~ Ciwt widdle anarchist. Glad you acknowledge though that one has to 'convert' to 'believing' in anarchism what with the metaphysical-idealist connotations, seeing as what I'm over here agreeing with Marxism due to a combination of agreement to personal experience and its theoretical correspondence with objective conditions. Ultimately, though, calling for the death of other communists only makes you a tool of the ruling class.

Correction: The only SPD delegate who voted against the War in Germany was Karl Liebknecht who then left the SPD to create the USPD and join up with his long time friend Rosa to form the Spartacus League

I remember my high school history teacher saying WW1 basically killed the spirit of international socialism. Also, I know Italy was part of the Triple Alliance, it's worth pointing out that they joined the Triple Entente. Finally, the 3 arrows symbol of the SFIO was only adopted by the SFIO in the early 1930s. The reason being is that this was an SPD symbol referring to being anti-nartsee, anti-monarchist and anti-bolshevik.

This is why people shouldn't think Revisionism or Opportunism are new problems. The period of 1920s-50s was exceptional in how little influence revisionism had. The fact that it resurfaced again shouldn't be seen as a big surprise. Kautsky was a big opponent of Berstein's revisionism but himself became a revisionist soon after when shit hit the fan all over Europe in the aftermath of WWI. Revisionism (an anti-marxist tendency inside marxism) developed because anti-Marxist ideas in the labour movement no longer could fight on their own. Marxism became dominant, so the syndicalists, reformers and opportunists all wormed their way into marxism or their ideas influenced people in the marxist community in a revisionist fashion. It shouldn't be seen as a surprise that when Marxism-Leninism became dominant it faced the same danger of revisionist influence and infiltration.

Why are you bashing syndicalists? Syndicalism is revolutionary, not just trade unionism. Fucking tankies
@thefinnishbolshevik2404
@thefinnishbolshevik2404 7 жыл бұрын
Syndicalism tries to limit our activity to economic and trade union activity instead of political struggle. And in terms of organizational tactics it tries to limit us to trade unions which are the lowest and broadest form of basic struggle. Anyone can join a union, but they don't necessarily want to join a party and become a political activist. Syndicalism has been revolutionary _some times_ but that is the exception, not the rule. And when that happens it pretty much stops being syndicalism altogether. If a syndicalist instead of striking gets a gun, and instead of sticking to trade unionism forms a party, then he is not a syndicalist anymore.

Check out the anarchist internationals, anarchists and statists like Marx didn't see eye to eye. The anarchist said Marx was an authoritarian so Marx kicked them out 😂. From 1872-1877 anarchist had 'The Anarchist International of St. Imier', and also from 1881-1887 anarchists also had the Black International, aka 'International Working People's Association', at first named the International of Revolutionary Socialists. The Black International in Chicago (that stemmed from the anarchist RSLP, 'Revolutionary Socialist Labor Party') was influential in organizing the Chicago portion of the May 1st 1886 US General Strike where the Haymarket Affair happened, and that is what the 2nd International based International Workers Day being May 1st on. Sort of sibling rivalry shit like today (except by now the state socialists, ML and MLMs have murdered anarchists proving anarchists correct that they have an aggressive authoritarian tendency)

Back then the SPD actually did some good over here in Germany and provided a balance between them and the CDU. So for a few years, the CDU would concentrate on the economy. Then the SPD had a turn and enforced workers rights. But today there is little glory left in that so-called social democratic party.
