The Legend of Zelda Timeline and the eternal conflict of Link, Zelda and Ganondorf / Ganon constantly changes as seen most recently with Link’s Awakening Switch and Breath of the Wild 2 Placement in the Timeline.
So take This. The Complete and Fully Up to Date Official Zelda Timeline according to the Zelda Team, Zelda Producer Eiji Aonuma and Zelda Director Hidemaro Fujibayshi as of 2019, Breath of the Wild 2, Breath of the Wild Master Works / Creating a Champion and Hyrule Encyclopedia which replaced Hyrule Historia when it changed the placement of Link’s Awakening and Oracle of Ages.

What's so badass about the hero of wind is that he goes across the depths of the wide and open sea and builds the Triforce fragment of courage all by him self as in saying "Look at me O' mighty gods choose me, for I am the savior of Hyrule"

There's more backstory than actual story. The story itself is pretty simple, Link has amnesia, remembers what happened, goes and kills Calamity Ganon. There is a far richer backstory and mystery. Such as the Leviathan's, the Zonai, Yiga Clan, etc. I still regard it as one of the best Zelda games, and honestly I'd say my favorite due to the new exploration idea they took with the game.

Come on guys the series hasn't really gone completely out the window with its story. Its been mostly on the same track for some time. You play link, ganon starts trouble , you defeat bosses in a dungeon, gather items, then come face to face with ganon himself(for most of the games the bad guy is ganon or the demon king) and the princess is none other than Zelda. Pretty straight forward. Its the back story and the story you can uncover that makes the story of the games.

In the next edition, I would recommend a graphic showing the timeline and the associated game with each 'era' of Hyrule. It's mostly pretty obvious but would make it a more pleasant viewing to keep amental note.

The botw dragons have similar names to the gods which represent them. Farore and Farosh (courage). Din and Dinraal (power). Nayru and Naydra (wisdom).

Ok, but I don’t know what Nintendo was thinking, reversing the positions of Link’s Awakening and the Oracle games. The complete ending of the Oracle games clearly show Link leaving Holodrum/Labrynna ON A BOAT to return to Hyrule. This is were Link’s Awakening starts.

3ds. However the problem with the remakes are the brightness. I'm going to be talking about on thing here for this... Ganon. On the n64 when he transformed the only thing you could she were his eyes a sword. A strike of lightning was the only way you could see his body. With the 3ds remake that darkness is lost. Let sleeping dogs lie. However a port like the snes with n64 games for the switch would be fine. Just have to option between hd and non hd

I want to point out something: In Skyward Sword, you travel forward and backward in time. In the future timeline, you kill Demise with the Triforce. In the past, you seal him within the Master Sword. Then take him to the Future Timeline. Thus, Demise's curse no longer exists in the Past TL, only the Future TL. Demise can't exist in the Past TL's future because he was no longer sealed and got sent to another TL. Therefore, none of the events after Skyward Sword can happen within the Past TL, only the Future TL. Just an observation I made while replying Skyward Sword.

The “Fallen Hero” timeline has no choice but to be my favorite. So many juicy games. And we follow the same Link through A Link to the Past, Link’s Awakening, and both Oracle games. Then there’s Zelda 1 and Adventure of Link that were the start of this whole thing, yet are the final episodes in the Fallen Hero. I find that very endearing.

I had a thought while watching the Breath of the Wild section of the video. What if the ancestor that Master Koga speaks of was Monk Maz Koshia? He does state that his final technique was developed by his ancestor, and the only other character to use it was the ancient Sheikah.

I still dislike the revision for Link's Awakening. The ending of the Linked Game for the Oracles sets up Link leaving on the same boat that's destroyed in the opening of Link's Awakening. I know it's probably to get rid of the extremely heavy implications that Link died at the end of Awakening (left in the middle of the sea with nothing but a destroyed boat) but the Oracles are clearly setting it up.

Why would he die ? It's true that the Wind Fish was a jerk for not offering him a ride after that Link saved him .... But seagulls indicate that there is land nearby and our reincarnated Malon was going in one direction. Next time when you get to the start of the Fallen Hero Timeline get a death screen in the battle against Ganon after the tower has fallen. In OoT we see the moment that Ganondorf throws away his human form, so Link's death should be at that point in the game, not in the room during the first battle. I figure that in that timeline Link never found the Biggoron Sword and never figured out that he could use the Megaton Hammer on Ganon's tail. Or he had sword that snaps after a hundred uses and it snapped mid battle.

Even though there's no prophecy foretelling the Hero of Winds or any special anointing for his quest, I like how he still embodied the "spirit of the hero" enough that Demise's hatred encounters him too.

I love the fact that you just confirmed where in the timeline it best takes place lol. Using the "revival and sealing" statements that only happened in the Downfall Timeline. Child Timeline he was only reincarnated once then permanently sealed and in the Adult Timeline he was sealed ONLY TWICE(with the final seal being definitive as the Master Sword was design to hold back the Malice better than any other method). But good on you to see you are on the #DownFallTimeline team. We are happy to have you aboard.

@@nonoctoro4933 Side characters aside this has to do with Story aspects. The fact that BotW has a history with many attacks from Ganon to the point that a race decided to seal him away to prevent revival/reincarnation should tell you all you need to know.

Tldw: Unified: SS, MC, FS, OoT Downfall: LttP, OoA/OoS, LA, ALBW, TH, LoZ, AoL, BotW, BotW2 Child: MM, TP, FS+, HW Adult: WW, PH, SP There's way too many evidence against placing BotW in the Child timeline, especially since Ruto never became the sage that was talked about in BotW if it was in the Child timeline

It’s funny how much attention was placed by Nintendo on the Fallen Hero timeline. Wonder if they’re planning on juicing up the Child or Adult timelines next. My vote is for another Toon Link x Ganondorf game, taking place years after Spirit Tracks.

Nearly everything about this video was incredible. The production value was amazing, the narrator was incredible I love that guy's voice... The content however was very uninspired. The story at the end of the Hyrule Historia, the prequel to Skyward Sword could've/should've been added, and Majora's feud with The Fierce Deity could've been elaborated on more... I guess what I'm trying to say is, there's a lot more story than what was there.

in the intro, stuff like the tp scene where he holds up his sword goes well with the music because its so epic, but zelda 2 with link walking is soo hilarious

Possible scolding expected: It makes more sense to have Link's Awakening come after the Oracle games due to the boat Link travels on at the end of the latter. After his missions in Holodrum and Labrynna, he makes his way home to be caught in the maelstrom which stranded him on Koholint Island, so Link's incarnation at that point has 3 "campaigns" in his life to pass down to the generation coming after them

Each one already got a remaster, so I doubt those are high on the list. My guess is, if they are going to remaster a game, it’s probably A Link To The Past, Zelda 1 or 2, or the Oracle games. I personally wanna see a game showing the story of the Hero of Men, since we still don’t have a game for him
