Been to Big Sur at South Point and it was so so. That Oyster bar at PS is so much better.

I went to Big Sur today and the oysters were nothing like it was Las week. Last week everything was great. Today I felt like I wasted my money.

The Oyster Bar at Palace Station has probably the BEST seafood in Las Vegas ! I love the pan roast, oysters, and clam chowder. There are so many things on the menu it's amazing. Once you taste that pan roast you are in NIRVANA and it is absolutely the best !!! I stay at Palace Station just because of the oyster bar and have been known to fly to Las Vegas just to eat there and I live in Florida where we have great seafood, but this is on another level !!! I give it a 20 on a scale of 10 Just Awesome

Just followed your recommendation and went to Palace Station. Wait on Wed. 4:30pm was 45 minutes. Oyster was small in size but very fresh. Ordered a steam mussels and it was good size and excellent. Pan Roast was better than average and I ordered #8 which hit just right - not too spicy. Thank you for the recommendation.

The Pan Roast at Palace Station is LEGENDARY. I always hit up that place every time I'm in Vegas and I usually go during the off hours to minimize the wait.

Excellent review. I worked on an oyster bar for years in Boston and made pan roasts and they are delicious. We only made them with oysters and could never make enough of them. We had stainless steel steam bowls on the back of the bar where the steam came up and heated the bowls. First the butter went in, then we shucked in a few oysters with all the juices, season, add a tablespoon of tomato paste, cream and Sherry turn up the steam for a few minutes, hit the lever and it pours into a heated bowl! We served it with crackers and a beautiful hard French roll. People couldn't get enough of them. Loved this video, brought back a lot of memories. I am 70 years old and still shuck all the oysters in my house for everyone! I love the Crab Louie delicious! Thank you.

I went back a 2nd time Oysters were terrible! Super small and not worth serving to the public... like they were trying to get rid of scraps during the happy hour But the Bouillabaisse was AMAZING! I can't say enough about it I think it's the best dish there. Fish & Chips were great too.

Your commentary is spot on. Highlighting the hidden gems that are off the stripe. Vegas was a mid point stop for me stationed in Utah then I15 to see family in California. Keep up the great work!!!

Yes their Oysters are super delicious & the Pan Roast Combo level 7 is my FAVE! Just be careful though cause it’s piping HOT. I always suggest everyone who visit to try them out.

We always go to the Sunset Station location. It's way cheaper but the menu is smaller. The Pan Roast and Shrimp Diavolo are incredible there.

The best New York pan roast I’ve ever had was at the Silver Legacy at pearls oyster bar I heard they’re closed now since the pandemic which really sucks it was excellent

I was in a mood for oyster today so I jump into my car drove few miles to PS/OB. Upon arrival, I saw a long waiting line there (Tues. 3:00pm) probably with a 2 and half hour wait so I went back to my car and drove to S Point BS. My first time at SP and it was pleasant to see I could self-park inside the garage. There was no waiting line at SP/BS and I got a seat immediately. I ordered oyster and Bouillabaisse only. Having tried all three OB recommended by 702, following is my rating. Your milage may vary: My choice #1 is no place else but PS/OB - if I don't have to wait long. My #2 is Legend OB. I wasn't too hungry at 3.30pm and did not order fish/chips today, but, I saw someone else order and plate had 4 large pieces of fish sticks instead of 3 medium size at LOB. It looks good, I may try it next time. LV Eats 702 cost me some hard eared money recently. Love your program.

😆 I can't vouch for places anymore. Things change and fluctuate. But I agree Palace Station is good. Legends too. Jack (owner) at Legends is a personal friend of mine.

South Pointe Oyster Bar one of my favorite seafood place. Oysters are always fresh and really good. I always enjoy cioppino and lobster grilled cheese. Tried going to palace station oyster bar but I cannot wait 2-3 hours in line. I’ll try palace station oyster when waiting is less than 30-45 mins.

The Pan roast at Sunset and Palace are the same price, only difference is Palace is open 24/7. The best Pan Roast was at the Fiesta before stations bought it, but the one at the Oyster bar is damn good.

Finally i was in Vegas again 2 weeks ago. I always stay at the South Point, and the Big Sur is my favourite place to eat. Unfortunately there was a bowling event, and i had to wait for a table more than 45 minutes every time. But it is worth it :-D Greetings from Germany!

I do like the smaller oysters like the ones they serve at Bardot at Aria. Even my parents who don't really care for oysters liked them. The bigger ones are hit or miss.

It amazes me that the PS Oyster Bar is busy every time I past by it in previous trips and don't think to get in line to try it. The SP Oyster Bar looked great too! Have you heard anything about the one in The Orleans? Love your channel and all the places you've showcased!

Pan Roast 1970 The Oyster Bar, Oak Buffs, Martha's Vineyard, then discovered 1971 Pan Roast Oyster Bar Grand Central Station went there for 45 years every weekend till moving to Maine.

I just finished eating at the Big Sur now. Everything was great except for the pan roast. It was actually below average. Now I'm worried about getting that Palace Station panroast fix. I guess I'll have to wake up early on Sundays

I had to compare the panroasts. Palace Station is the best hands down. So for the panroast, it's Palace Station. The Bouillabaisse is really good though, so maybe I'll settle for the bouillabaisse at South Point.

ok, hold on…. at 7 mins.. (love love love your videos by the way) but that is NOT lump crab from Dungeness crab… its the kind you get in a can and are from asia, trust me on this. but they are yummy just the same. they are not from the US. i know my blue crab, but anyway, its from the asian “swimmer” which is a spotted crab and are tasty too. but come canned.

I prefer The Oyster Bar at Palace Station, but the wait is so long that I wind up settling for other places. Big Sur is good, but almost a "hit or miss" type of place. Check YELP or my videos for places like "Legends Oyster Bar," "Pier 88," "Hot & Juicy Crawfish," "The Boiling Crab," "Crab Island," "Joe's Seafood Prime Steak & Stone Crab," or you can even do Bacchanal Buffet at Caesar's Palace.

Impressive the oysters are massive . I work in a fish market i get in oyeters different kinds .our biggest are not as big as them it will cost $30 for 12. And $80 to $100 a medium lobster. We are expansive because all Australian shell and crustaceans are .there i such thing in geting theses in huge numbesr when buying it goes on grams . Prawns expansive but more used . Crab meat is hard to come buy .our crabs are smaller than what Americans are used to ... I love seafood but its a luxury. I really dont like that fake crab meat taste nothing like crab meat at all .
