Games Workshop has kindly sent me a review copy of Legions Imperialis to assemble and paint. Here is my review, thoughts, and of course how you can paint them as the White Scars legion!

The way the MK6 models are molded isn't so much an "issue" as it is a manufacturing method. Without it, you add more tiny assembly and added manufacturing expense.

I wouldn't know too much about the extent of the production methods. All I have is my observations and use with the kit. Past that they paint up great and looking forward to more games and the range expanding. Thanks for watching!

Its how they are made, they all have to be in one piece and at this size tiny gaps cant be a thing with the process they are using (two die mould) this is why they have the crazy insane bolter shelf (thats what I am going to call it)

well thankfully they are a single piece to put together! The heavy weapons are the only marines with 2 piece construction. @@yagsipcc287

I ended up clipping way the extra plastic under the bolters. It is/was completely unnecessary to do. Haha. I prepared my White Scars the same way, though luckily I had a lot ice cream sticks leftover.

WOW nice job on those tiny fricken things lol as someone who has just gotten into warhammer i dont think i could paint these maybe the vehicles but yea i thought the regular ones were small this is just ridiculous awesome painting though maybe one day ill try but i finally just started to paint my first model ive had the ultimate starter kit for a month now 😅 i have had to get over the fear of messing it up and just say screw it

Cheers my friend thats very kind of you to say. These little models are really fun and they lend themselves to washes soo well that you allow more of the sculpt to do the work. Don't stress too much and avoid that perfection paralysis. Sure you're first models maybe not the best, but the more you paint an enjoy the process, the better you get. Use that motto and you will go the distance in this wonderful hobby!
