Yeah, I agree. Part of me wishes that either the console port had the handmade cutscenes or the ds port had the actual cutscenes

​@@16bitvirtual I believe LSW2 DS is one of the worst LEGO Star Wars games, but I love it. Also, there is a glitch that you can do with IG-88 If you go on the character creator and you go to back accessories, tap on the button that randomises the character and drag the jetpack to the character when the randomised character gets the body of IG-88. Not the head. It makes the character move quickly, jump as high as you can go with the jetpack (You won't slowly float back down. Using force lightning on it crashes the game. And you can do an insane amount of damage if you equip Boba Fett's blaster. You can also go onto heads and also randomise a character until it gets IG-88's body or the skeleton body (If you have it in the character customisation and put on the Gamorean guard's head. There's also an easter egg where if you go to the bounty hunter arena, select the Jabba's Tower map and go to the bottom, there will be writing that will say ''OBI WAN'' and ''ANAKIN''. Also, for something fun, you could fight Vader as the glitched droid. It's also fun because you can't get choked.

Normally I do, (got myself a few new Star Wars games fro x-mas), but this year I wanted the reviews I do in December to be Star Wars so I had to play these throughout October and November. Although I can say this is the last of the Star Wars Reviews, "normal" services will resume in January, all license games!

Maybe, through I would probably put it head to head with the PSP game

@@16bitvirtual LEGO Star Wars III for the DS is identical to the PSP version. And also the 3DS version.

@@legoclayface Yes, I knew about the DS and PSP versions being similar which is why I wanted to do the Head to Head, but I wasn't aware of the 3DS version. Probably call it the TT Fusion Head to head to head, would be a great look at third party support on a system.

But it's a good game! Mostly because of it's charm! Sure it's a glitchy game, but it have a very own charm, especially in the way the "cutscenes" are

And please do, as I've said in the Video it is a good game, just not for me.

Yeah, it's a hard to understand the reasoning. LEGO Star Wars was a perfect 1:1 port on GBA and LEGO Star Wars II on DS was bug free.

Not many people like, and/or enjoy playing games on their phones, especially with touch controls. From my experience, I will take the DS game over the iOS version, just because using physical inputs are easier to use than the virtual ones. And no I do not consider lugging around a controller a good solution to add physical inputs for mobile phones. Since if I need to lug around accessories just to enjoy my game, I might as well just bring a laptop, which will be a better experience across the board.

@@AIRFanPage If that works for you, than it's a good option. I've tried to game on mobile devices before from my iPhone 6 to my latest android, and I found it more frustrating. But I am also fortunate enough to have a literal mountain of gaming systems, and computers to choose from which I've collected over the years. So I don't think I ever game mobile gaming much of a chance other than for puzzle and touch screen optimized games.

The answer depends on whom the game is for. If the person is a fan of LEGO or someone with my unique tastes for games, then Lego Star Wars II. If the person is a fan of Star Wars, or has no patients for a buggy game, then Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga, and if they liked that Lego Star Wars III.

I'd wait and see what the Skywalker saga is like first.

It's playable on 3DS. Lego Star Wars III and Episode Vii are the only 3ds Lego Star Wars games I am aware of

I'd beg to differ, Star Wars the Force Unleashed and Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squadron are both on DS (reviewed them too) and are much better than this game. As well LEGO Star Wars III which also was for DS (which I also reviewed), used the same engine and was better than this. It wasn't the DS's lack of power, but rather time constraints on the developers, and the lack of knowledge on how to use the systems power which lead to my opinions of this game.

@@16bitvirtual man, force unleashed on ds was so fun. Never got the chance to play the force unleashed 2 ds port, though.

I think the PS1 can handle more characters on screen at a time than this game can.

Well, that was mainly because of the DS's technical limitations.
