Both small Technic sets from this wave are winners imo, definitely an improvement over last year's March sets.

When discussing it as a parts pack, RacingBrick says “You might ask why it is special to have gears in a Technic set” - to further support that, consider that Technic builds sacrifice looks for functionality, and MOC builders need gears for most of the functionality they might want. Of course the top tier small Technic set that had the best gear selection is set 42102 Mini Claas with 10 gears, including two 36t gears, all in a $12 product.

It's a very cool build

The groomer is pretty impressive considering the low part count. As an AFOL I'm not sure it's something I would pick up mostly because playability isn't what I'm looking for in any of the sets. I am more into the building techniques and then eventually alternative builds. Slowly building a collection of parts so I can start learning how to do some MOCs as well.

They need to add a Hawkeye minifig to this set.

Thanks for the well done review. For me that is the best Technic set of the year so far, and considering the rumours for the upcoming sets with more licensed cars etc, it will remain the best. I'm not even sure if 3 functions in a 10 euro set has been done before, that's impressive! And a proper B model is included too. Technic has fallen in a pretty sad state the last few years considering the 10 euro sets are the only ones keeping its true spirit alive. At least I'll vote with my wallet and buy this when it reaches the shelves over here.

Will definitely buy this set and modify it with system parts for my winter village)

The sheer hapiness i feel while seeing these amazing 10 € sets just made me think and decide to go to my nearest Lego shop to spend some euros and buy all of 10€ Technic sets they have... which is not much, but i will do it

I would say that the b model, although basic, seems to work like a real snowmobile. If you put weight in the back it gains traction and the skis are meant to carve into snow so you would not get that steering effect until you are going. If you let go of your handlebars and move, a real snowmobile would have a similar result with steering. You more float and carve on a real snowmobile so I think this is as accurate as it could be for such a compact design.

It's pretty close to minifig size, and I will probably stick it somewhere in my city, maybe as a background piece.

I would love to see a snow test to see how effective it actually is

Probably the best Technic set of 1H2023. Technic should only be about functions and the other themes like Speed Champions and Creator Expert can have the looks and licences. No one cares that this is not a PistenBully®.

The avengers biggest villain yet🌚

I have to say, given its size, this tiny version has the exact functionality of the old, larger snow-groomer. I daresay it's better, as one of the issues that set has is the limited track functionality. It works fine on a carpet, but is plagued by the same slipperiness on smooth surfaces that all of the larger vehicles run into. In fact, the only thing you're not getting on this one is the swivel for the smoothing plate at the back, it's great!

Considering the targeted age group both the truck and this set are nice sets to get kids interested in Technic
