Thanks for the info. I am a mechanic but didn't have any manuals on daughters car. She is selling it and troubleshooting to that main relay saved me lots of time. You are my first comment to the KZfaq world. I really do appreciate it.

Thank you so much! My 2000 Honda Accord would not start, and I was praying it would not be a big/expensive issue. I removed and replaced those two fuses you pointed out (both were fine) and then while I was testing the black/yellow wire under the steering column like you showed in the video, my dad turned the key and my car started! Thanks so much for showing me how to troubleshoot. Saved me and my dad a lot of time.

@@popthelid We used an automotive circuit tester to confirm that power was getting to the relay (black/yellow wire that he shows starting at 0:55).

Nope. Just take off the spare tire cover mat, undo the three bolts, then you have to undo like seven or eight more screws holding the fuel pump onto the fuel pump gasket. Mine were rusted and had to be drilled out.

Hello Sir just watched another Great informative Video 👍 I have a Question maybe you can help me out as its driving me Cra Cra🙆🏻‍♂️ I recently bought a 2000 Honda Accord v6 and recently replaced the Fuel sending unit with a new one because i noticed whenever i purchased car and driving home 2hrs away that my gas gauge went from lil over half a tank to empty while driving so i pulled over and filled up thinking in my head i aint risking it by getting stranded on road..lol.. after awhile of driving it went back to normal.. wierd.. so i kinda left it alone thinking maybe car has been sitting causing floater to stay stuck.. after Replacing Sending unit with a New one i kept driving couple days kept doing same thing i have no start up issues at all or stalls you have any thoughts why im getting this issues Please Help Thanks..

How do you check the power for the relay and the connector by the pump? I'm guessing you would use a Fluke, but I've never used one before. I don't know what setting to use

Set to DC Volts at 20...that's the line with dots over top. Any multimeter will do

Thanks Lehrer Tech for posting this great video. Can someone help? If my 2001 Honda Accord running great until l tried to find code for the SRS light by using “jumper” in the connector and accidentally putting the Jumper in the wrong pin hole and causing spark. Now, both the 15a #1 fuel pump fuse and the Mitsuba RZ-0159 main Relay tested Ok, but when l turn the key on, I don’t hear the fuel pump on and when l turn the key to star, the engine cranks but can’t start. Battery is good. What should l do?

If you haven’t solved this issue, check your ACG 15amp fuse under the hood on the passengers side. This fuse was blown on mine, hope this helps!

As far as the fuses go, easiest way is to check is a side by side comparison with a new one if your not familiar with what to look for. With the metal strip in the center being your indicator, if its not directly centered, in one piece or it just looks like its literally burnt out / blackened anywhere it means its all bad

@@darylmartin6989 I took my fuel pump out…cleaned filter really good and put it back. I still have to let it prime and build pressure before I start it..but it’s better.I’ll check my possession sensors now. (cam /crack)
