This looks so good as soon as I get an oven I'm going to try it. I remember in the 70s or early 80s there was a lemon blueberry Bundt cake mix that my mom made this reminds me of that.

Hey Tammie fixing to make your lemon cake again ! Just wanted you to know my husband seen last night when I cut him a slice of cake that the filling is at THE TOP of the cake ! So it seeps to the top as it bakes !! Surprise surprise!! My church family will love it ! Love your site

Love this recipe I'm glad you're feeling some better! Now Tammy here's a tip for you if you don't want to reinfect yourself with what you had make sure you change your toothbrush when I get bronchitis I'll change my toothbrush about four times before I'm done so that way I don't reinfect myself.

Hey Tammie, just one more question please.. are you saying the pie filling you add on top of the batter .. seeps to the top of your cake like the picture shows.. mine did not it stayed on the bottom? Hope I make sense?ha! When you turned your cake out of pan your filling shows on top of your cake .I’m going to make another one for church dinner tomorrow.

No it is sweet enough. Just do not add as much lemon juice.

Lordy Mercy! That cake looks so luscious and delicious! I love lemon anything lemon. I definitely have to make this. Glad you're feeling better Tammy and don't forget you got to change your toothbrush so you don't reinfect yourself if not you'll get sick all over again and be careful about your toothpaste sometimes if you put your toothpaste against your toothbrush you can suck the virus and the germs up into the toothpaste and when you put it on your toothbrush to reinfect yourself. When I get sick I change my toothbrush out about four or five times before I'm done I get me one of those cheap packages of toothbrushes at the Dollar Tree and use that while I'm sick and then I switch out. Did this cake the second time but this time the curd didn't sink to the top. I know it should still be delicious. Any reasons why it didn't, maybe I didn't put enough filling.

Put the filling on the top centered it will sink

Last time asking.. how did the filling what ever amt. you used on top of the batter .. end up on top of the cake when you turned it out of pan?? I’m some dumb but not plumb dumb?? Ha! My husband favorite saying ! Am I making sense???

Good afternoon! I am having trouble with my cakes getting stuck to my Bundt pan. Am I not using enough Bakers Joy? Am I not letting the cake cool enough? Not sure what I am doing differently from the past but I don’t use my Bundt pan very often. HELP!!! God Bless y’all!!

Go back and make sure it is really clean. Then spray it like crazy. It should be okay unless you are trying to take the cake out before it cools. Once it is cool enough for you to handle it it is ok to dump.

On the previous video of this cake recipe, she said to put lemon filling in center of batter is you want a sticky lemon bar topping or on top if you want it to make a "tunnel" inside the cake (it's going to sink but maybe not as much). She actually made the filling from scratch last time: 1/2 c. softened butter, 1 T. lemon juice, 2 tsp. lemon zest and 2 c. powdered sugar. Beat filling in separate mixing bowl until light and fluffy. I thought she was cutting out the butter but then she added it to the glaze! lol

The first glaze, which is 1/2 c lemon juice + 1/2 c powdered sugar is WAY too thin. I've added at least a cup more of sugar and its still too thin. I already have a sugar headache and I havent even tasted it yet

That is not the revision recipe. The thin glaze is good it just does not look like the picture.

@@CollardValleyCooks I must have messed up because it was like water, and still looked a lot like lemon juice, so I added more and more sugar until I overdid it... Nothing like what I see you pouring here. My end product for the pouring glaze was still more clear than white and almost as thin as water. Trying not to be frustrated because the cake itself looks amazing and the final glaze hasn't even been made. *What are the correct measurements for the pouring glaze?*
