I used to make lots of gifs in 2017-2019 and wanted to become an animator. I hope to get back the desire to become one one day again. Turning lines into characters or objects and then bringing them to life was such an amazing feeling every time! As always, great video! 🧡

I can't articulate how much I appreciate these insights into your workflow. As an animator specialising in fast paced action and gritty folkloric imagery there is a blatant irony in my inherent preference for melancholic, subtle movement. This video gave me a pleasant insight into how I can rework my own workflow to elevate subtlety as well as revealing a potential appealing means of diversion for myself

wowowow this video was amazing! I loved how detailed you were with the editing, I noticed that at 8:19 you used the same diamond-ish shape for the letter "i" that the sword was which was very cool, your method of copy-pasting brushstrokes when movement isn't extreme was so smart! And it's very nice seeing you use a screen-less tablet, I used to think that I needed the most expensive cyntiq if I wanted to make good art, so this was a good reminder that it's the artist, not the materials that determines quality. also your voice is really relaxing.

The amount of detail and attention you put into your videos is insane!! The editing, the music, colors, little icons - everything elevates whatever subject you are talking about, and makes your videos so unique! My UX professor would call your videos “being kind to the viewer”, because everything you do in this video - explaining the theories, showing examples just makes a simple tutorial such a pleasant to watch experience, but most importantly it’s so clear! I wish you could put out more videos, but with this much effort, I feel like it must take you a long time! And that’s why you are probably one of my favorite animation/illustration KZfaqrs out there, because even your videos are designed with such detail and care, which I feel like shows your attitude towards your work. And I find it super inspiring!

this is so amazing and informative. Even as someone who has experience animating or animating in CSP I already learned so much with just one video especially animating spherical shapes and the after effect wave. I was really wondering how you seemed to animate all those plants and was scared if you hand-drew them, so i was quite relieved and ecstatic with that part of the process! Overall watching this made me want to draw and animate a big piece again even if I know i know its process is lengthy and exhausting hahaha, but its truly inspiring and I’ll take the lovely tip at the end to heart.
