In life, the best people to come across are of type that you can relax around whether that be sharing their company or being in close proximity of. There was something about Lenny that gave the impression that he was, at times needlessly intimidating and intimidating just for the sheer hell of it. He gave off the impression that he could fly off the handle at any moment. I guess any pleasantness that he received from others was borne out of fear because he was rather scary. Genuine reciprocation from people comes with far better value and authenticity!

I come from East Street Market SE London actually grew up IN the market and to me a lot of the guys in the pubs like The Good Intent did not scare me. Even when they were bigging it up selling guns etc. Thing is i could have a fight in the street and win but in the ring i had no discipline, so no good. Had a pub in soho and met Lenny and Roy etc. I belive Ray Hill when he says he would have won against Lenny. He sounds like he had the confidence to do it

Dear Ray your podcast kept me going through the hardest time of my life, I have been a fighting man since I had my nose splattered on a basketball court after school when I was 10, lived by a ancient English code I learned from my grandad, all army stuff, kept my hair short never took liberties was good to my mum kept fit and smashed my enemies on the cobbles to their faces, over time my enemies tried to steal all these gifts because prison broke me, it is what it is, you kept me punching because you respect your enemies. Your like a father to all the real fighters ray I am one much respect from Perth Australia

Lenny & Roy are the two fighters who always seem to be the names mentioned, they both loved the limelight (and why shouldn’t they) and courted that celebrity status. There is no doubt that they could both have a proper row, that’s not in question, however it would be foolish to think that they were the only fellas that could have a scrap - just as you say in this video. Plenty of seriously tough chaps out there. Happy New Year Ray 🙌🏽
